My Honda Brio SMT Rallye Red

just received a call from honda. they are pressuring us to buy RSA. For a 4 year RSA term, charges are 4600 bucks or you can take annual one for Rs 1750.
i asked for some special discounts along with RSA and the SE offered me one waxing , one wheel alignment, interior cleaning/dry cleaning with the RSA. seems an epic waste![[lol]](https://www.theautomotiveindia.com/forums/images/smilies/Laugh.gif "Laugh [lol]")
and yes , the 2nd service is free wrt only labour, oil/filters etc is charged as per actuals and service interval is 6 months or 10kms whichever happen earlier.
and the new service maintenance is only applicable for new car purchases. They are not offering it to even a month old cars.

Today while coming from office it rained very hard, and I switched on thee wiper and the with speed as intermittent. But to my surprise it was literally jumping and was not able wipe at all. Then I check other two option available. At high speeds it worked well. But at Lo option again it is like jumping. Is this something which is coz of heavy rain water. Or any problem with wiper blade??

This is a problem with the blades.
Car was already billed before 31 october and its in dealer's place.
Now its in registration stage they wil get registration number in a day or two.
How dealer accepts your full payment before alloting the vehicle to you.
You should opt for any other color as still there is no signal from your dealer.

Delaer asked for payment quating that car will be deliverd on 31st. Now he is saying that red will take more time to come from factory, will inform after monday about that.
I want only Red colour, so what should i do? Is there any problem if delear has taken full payment?

Not a problem.
But if they commited for 31 oct.so now u can ask them to return your full amount as they are unable to keep their words.(wait till monday)
Just try may be after this they can provide you with red color little more faster.
No need to take any kind of stress.
Best practice is to ask dealer to allot the car first and provide with vin no.after that one should transfer the big amount to dealer.still no harm done just try to push hard now.

there is no problem per se, but holding a few lacs always helps which one should commit on delivery. That way everyone remains on their toes.
Now tomorrow say a red color brio does make way to the showroom, the dealer may try and sell it to someone else who has cash in hand and is short on time. For them closing another deal will be more important and making you wait may not be their first priority but then human mentality is such that you may lose priority since you have already paid for the car and now are on their mercy. You have nowhere else to go.
am giving you a hypothetical situation and I may be wrong but being in marketing, I myself end up doing such stuff.

Went a long drive (Mix of city and mostly hi-way) today, probably about 230KMS.
Bad points:
1. The light throwback even on hi-beam is very,very poor. I often have to drive slow in order not to miss humps and other crappy 2-wheelers.
Plng 2 get Philips or some other Osram H4 60/55W bulbs, suggested by Nitin
2. Vehicle drifts a lot, that to with 2 hands on the steering wheel.
Not sure if my driving skills are so poor.

not very worried, since the beauty has done like 320 kms :)

Strange! at what speed you experienced drifting? I tried riding 120 - 135 kmph on hosur road when I had test drive on a BRIO. But i never felt any kind of drifting, rather the ride was amazingly controlled. My drive was just 2 or 3minutes on that speed may be that is the reason i could not feel drifting. I think your's is one with an ABS, isn't it?
Regarding steering, I felt that steering so light and precise. That is the main reason I love BRIO more than any other car in that segment.
Hope you will notice more FE soon. Update some rear pics if you have after that long drive. Since it was raining in bangalore for last few days, how was your confidence level while driving a new BRIO? how is the visibility without rear wiper or defogger?

strange! i suggest you check the tyre pressure since it seems your tyres are carrying more air than required. coz with more psi, the car flies.
it will increase over usage. You will find a considerable difference after 1000 kms thou the true FE will be seen after 5000kms.

I drove towards Channapatna Mcdonalds (On Mysore roads), and went upto 120. I felt the drive was outstanding, steering very lite etc,
the only issue i had with drifting at low speeds (40kms etc) , especially when changing lanes.(right to left etc etc)
Also, the light throwback sucked bi
