I forgot one detail about 3M services which I have taken so I am updating the review. Attaching a photo to show the area where PPF was applied.

congrats graptor,

wishing you many more years of drive with seat belts on
Thanks MSN1.

Graptor, nice, I too booked the same colour same variant, one doubt, yours is titanium or titanium(o)? if titanium, seat cover looks like that of the optional version company fitted seat cover, how much is the cost if its accessory?
Mine is Titanium (O) so these were stock leather covers. The scuff plates are 4 pieces, 2 for front and 2 for rear and price is 1200 Rs. And leather key cover is around 400 Rs. The delivery is pending, as for Free shipping through China post it takes around 30 days.

I think Lathangi is the worst Ford dealer in Bangalore. They clearly tried to sell you the showroom display piece. I too remember the blue Ecosport on display when I went there at launch. Next time when I went, it was replaced by something else. When I asked the SA, he said that was sold to somebody. I had always thought that showroom pieces kept for quite some time and later sold off at discounted prices. But at Lathangi they are rotating the display pieces and selling to unsuspecting customers.

After all the fights I had with Lathangi, I didn't think that they would give me a car so soon after that. Why they chose to is still a mystery to me.

BTW, what is the name of the GM?
I got to know that this is a general practice by all car dealers, it would have been fine if the foot falls are not huge. For the Ecosport, it was around 300 people a day. So the blue Ecosport was on display for about 10 days, so approx 3000 people would have sat inside, touched exteriors and interiors, and so many sraches on the scuff areas [frustration]

So the abuse was evident as so much dust from foot marks got accumulated on the stock mats and everything else I mentioned in the review.

I never expected ES will look great in this color other than Mars Red and White. But yours changed my perception. It looks premium. Congrats[clap]

How is the road clearance on the left hand side?
Thanks @nick_70, no problem what so ever with the ground clerance, just near to my home there is a big pot hole, many times I had to go over it, and my left side wheel goes into this pot hole, the car clears the pot hole with only a "thud" sound and some amount of swaying.

Did anything happened to your rear right tire? ,the ford logo on the alloy is missing.
The dealer forgot to fix them, those were initial images. After a week I went to the dealership to inquire about the missing emblems/logos, then the SA checked the storage area and a fixed them.

I too didn't notice it while doing the PDI checklist.

I am planning to upload more photos with the 3M PPF and other details.

Finally yesterday we have gone for a short trip to Tumkur, around 160 kms to and fro.

Few points I noticed, the vehicle was loaded with some luggage and 3 adults on board.

1. With AC on I noticed some amount of turbo lag. Sometimes I wasn't able to speed up at all, and needed to downshift.
2. Steering is awesome, not at all tiring, and was able to place the car wherever I needed.
3. Very good stability at speeds about 100, I reached max 110 in a straight stretch.
4. Superb braking, as I mentioned in the review at higher speeds also the braking is sufficient and confidence inducing.
5. Within Tumkur I had to go through very narrow roads, I was little afraid but car handles very good, I was able to go through the narrowest road. With my Eon I would had more problem because of the low seating. The Ecosport high seating helps in such narrow turns or roads.
6. Suspension setting is not at all bone jarring, as I had to go through the road near one college, which was very bad, but only discomfort is swaying.
7. Body roll, in my driving style I dint notice any body roll or a roll which causes loss of control.
8. A headturner, lot of heads turned in Tumkur as in Bangalore.

Will be updating more.
