Car exhaust muffler tip pipe:

I have bought this Exhaust Muffler Tip Pipe from eBay for INR 398 with 7% discount. The Muffler tip is from Speedwav, but the quality is not that good but VFM. I found some rust while I took some closeup shots to present.
Does putting on the muffler change the sound of the engine/exhaust? or is it purely cosmetic?

Merry Christmas!!!

24 SMD Roof/Doom Light upgrade:
IMG_2185.jpg

I am bit bored with the dull roof light, so want to try bright white SMDs

BTW, SMDs (Surface Mounted Diode) are available in many sizes and are patterned in columns X rows, so literally we have many combinations.

Doom/roof lights are of 32mm festoon type, so I have ordered 24 SMD (5050) white dome/roof light as a replacement.

There are many sizes available like 3258 / 5050 etc., I preferred 50x50 which is bigger and brighter. BTW, a single 5050 SMD consist of 3 LEDs, so thrice the brightness, VFM…

As all these are just plug and play, no need to worry about technical part.

Only one thing to remember LEDs are semi-conductor, so polarity matters, if LED doesn’t light up after fixing, just change the polarity (rotate the plug 180 deg, i.e., change the connection from red – black and black –red)

Opening the Roof light cover is very simple, use a sharp tool to remove the cover, but make sure you cover the tool with a cloth, just to make sure we don't leave a mark on the plastics around and also for our safety.[:)]

Fitted in place...

Parking light:

I am bit bored with the dull parking lights.

I was planning for some white LEDs, which are energy conservative and have long life compared to the stock bulbs.

Ordered eBay for a pair of 9 SMD 5050 bright white on 19th Dec. but due to the excellent commitment of courier I got it on 28th Dec. This cost me INR 225 with 7% discount…

Stock T10 5W type bulb:

T10 types are just plug and play type so no need to worry about the technical part.

The stock bulb in place:

The 9 SMD 5050 in place:

I want to see the magic in night...

As usual, I am Sooper Happy!!!

This is quite interesting. [surprise]

Are these official drawings with correct measurements? The source for these are listed as Dr Dan Saranga.
Yes, these are from a site named www.the-blueprints.com/

We should have met in Chennai. Then we would have first hand idea about the space in both the cars. [:)]
Yes, we should have met. Let this happen in the coming year.

City is surely a league ahead of Amaze as Civic was a league ahead of City and Accord a league ahead of Civic.
City is surely ahead of Amaze, my point is Space Utilization in Amaze is Class ahead. [:)]

Same is true, to some extend, of upgraded models of the same also.
Just a small comparison between the two Citys, this is without any alteration in the size. Honda's - "MMMM" Principle

True. If you read my review of the City, you would notice many areas where the space is not utilized properly in City Ivtec. Though I would say that City ZX (2006 -2008) has better cabin space.
In Amaze, Honda had allocated all the available space to the cabin space, hence the cabin looks very spacious.

But other than 2 cup holder + 5 bottle holder + 1 storage cubical + 1 regular sized glove box (+ 2 cup holders in rear arm rest (S & Vx)), there are no other place or compartment to store/carry our basic accessories.

My DSLR occupies more than half of my glove box space.

The DSLR will not fit in the glove compartment in city. May be just a pair of gloves... as the name suggests.[:D]

And... no bottle holder in city will fit a one litre bottle. So we have to do with 5 half litre bottles for our trip and store the bigger bottles under the rear seat.

anyway, one dslr will sit on a cushion we place on the center arm rest for easy accessibility when we go for forest drives and the other on the rearseat.
