Hi D.J.D,
While the DIY looks good, the color of the mats is not gelling with the surroundings,Naveen04in's mat color is a pleasant one.
Regards,
Aneesh.
Yes Aneesh. I know it. Actually I searched for black/gray colored mat. But in my town I could get the green color only :(

Thanks DJD. If possible pls post some close-up shots of this mat in those clutch, break and accelerator area.
Sethu sir, as i told today morning here are some close-up pics of the driver foot-well.

In this pic you can see the clutch pedal can be pressed fully without any hindrance.

BTW today i got the spare wheel cover fixed in my car. Believe me friends it looks really good. The spare wheel cover adds some premiumness to the rear of the car. I must say, if you guys want to improve the look of your ecosport please add the spare wheel cover. It's really worth. Here is the pic...

DJD, thanks for the pics. Yes now I understand how it should be. If possible If I could locate the shop where I can get this noodle mat I will try to do it.

Regarding your spare wheel cover, Yes it really adds richness to the car. Looks great.

Have you left the climate control switched on ? Check it please .
I checked it and it is now not coming in ON position. As you and DJD said, it is only because the person last shutting the engine off is leaving the AC in ON position and hence it is remaining in ON position when re-ignition is done.

One more question on this.

By climate control ,you mean only the AC and not the blower? I mean, the blower can be in ON/OFF state and has nothing to do with AC remaining ON/OFF?

DJD @ Nice mats. The colour though is a bit loud but anyways will do their duties well. Also, the funbook looks good fit and has really added the ICE list of your car!!

thanks buddy. Yah the color is really loud. But in my town I could manage only this color :(

Mine is trend model. So no climate control. I have no idea how the blowers works in ACC.

To my knowledge climate means the AC itself adjust the temperature and other things according to the climate outside.

For example in normal car AC we have to increase the AC when the outside climate is hot and do vice verse when the climate outside is cold. With this climate control option it does this job by itself.

No worries on the colour!! They are meant to do a duity and they will do that!

You can get different coloured ones as and when these get worn-out.

There is a switch off button for the blower and to start it just rotate the blower rotary switch. It'l be same in the trend model too.ACC comes later when one wants to play with temperature settings.

Sethu sir,

A slight difference to what you said.

One needs to manually set the desired temperature in the ACC.We can set it precisely at any given temp with 0.5 degree +/-.After that, the AC will adjust itself and cool the cabin on it's own and adjusts the cooling wrt outside temp's changes!!

Sethu sir this is what i experienced :

have set my auto car A/C at 22 two days back in the afternoon the outside temp is hot at 30+ a/c chilled it well and keeps the temp inside car intact at 22
and yesterday morning at 7 am outside temp is 18 where the below thing happened.

As usual during the fist initial 10 minutes from start, my ecosport AC started blowing more air to chill down faster.

now comes the reality, after 10 mins feels bit hot inside then found mild hot air comming from the vents then i found the numbers outside temp is lesser than insite auto ac temp so obviously its hot air comming

Madhu thanks for the info. So the Auto AC means it tries to increase or decrease the temperature inside the cabin depending upon the outside temperature.

not just based on outside temp but also based on the temperature value you have set in the car.

example of working logic

if temp inside car is set to 19
if temp outside car is above 19 then cool
if temp outside car is below 19 then increase temp to match 19 in inside car
