It is not purple , but pure blue. I dont know how it turned purple+pink when clicked with my dslr. But again blue is also not very good , actually I had ordered for white led but got a blue one, I decided to live with that for now. I have also ordered white Leds for license plate, yet to get it delivered, lets see what they send [:)].
But my next project is definitely an HID upgrade , I had read your whole HID thread [:)].

Bro I suggest removing those blue lights. They do nothing but attract the cops. You may get a fine someday.

Yes, it is not needed to change the engine oil . First oil change will be at 10K Service

Completed the 10K service, but my current odo is 9600 only, still wanted to do it bit early. Service bill was roughly 2000 and odd. Didn't go for synthetic oil. I had opted for Synthetic in my Ritz but experienced the pain of paying a premium price for each service, synthetic is very costly. So this time planning to play the game differently , lets see..

A Big Congratulation. Happy Miles ahead
I like push button position on right side, in Honda City its on left side near to ICE panel, kids may interrupt any time.
Your car care kit is really nice, Love those sills plates in white.
excellent buy

Adding some photos after long time. Going great with Ciaz, no issues whatsoever so far!

Clicked this when I was driving to my home town for Diwali.

I have installed the DRLs. I bought the DRLs online for 100+ bucks and managed to install myself. It is very bright, pictures don't justify , lets see how reliable they are.

Currently connected to the Fuse. I identified the fuse using a multi meter.

I have finally installed the Led headlight for the low beam. No cutting/splicing of wires , so I hope the warranty will not be affected. Installation was bit tricky , still I managed it myself. Low beam is placed in extreme corners in ciaz, so it is bit difficult to reach.
Led Spec : H7 , 35W, 8000 Lm, 6000K.
I had ordered this in Ali Express during black friday sale. Cost? thats the best part , it was just 1400 bucks that time, it came with 1 Year Warranty + free china mail registered shipping. This item had very good reviews and huge orders. It works fine so far and i am fully satisfied. However I will have to do the headlight aim adjustment, which I will do this weekend.

Now I have to match the high beam color. Option 1: go for blue coated halogeon, Option2 : Led/HID(but Ciaz high beam is reflector type) . Any recommendations here please ?

Hello Chochi

The LED performance looks good but I don't see any sharp cutoff expected from a projector setup. Maybe a picture against a wall will give a better idea. And you need to get them aligned since the passenger side area close to the car is having a dark spot.

Highbeam should be left stock in my opinion, since it isn't used that frequently or if you wish to go for a white-r bulb to bring the colour output closer, go for blue coated ones from Philips/Hella in stock ratings. Do note that it would affect your visibility in adverse weather conditions. Instead you can plonk that money in fog lamp HIDs which would supplement your low beams and be 'used' thoroughly at least. Colour difference would be non existant and you do not have to worry about draining battery as well since the low beams are already saving battery power.

Regards,
Alpha

Yes, I will post a picture against a wall.

I do lot of higway driving as well. It is ok to install LID/HID on reflector for high beam? I can choose lesser K rating in that case.

Yes, this is definitely a good idea. Do you have any Led suggestions for fog lamps ? Mine is H8 type.

Hey Chochi,

Hows your Ciaz SHVS doing?Thinking to book a Ciaz ZDI+ as we sold off our Vento TDI today itself and Ciaz is one of the contenders chosen by my dad due to reliability and mileage.

What kind of DRLs are these? The COB ones with Metal Body? And how have you installed them? Whats the long term report?
Pardon for bombing you with questions. I am looking to buy these.

I have finally installed the Led headlight for the low beam.

1. Going with what Alpha said, I Fail to see any distinct cutoff for these LEDs. From the Product Pics, It appears that you have unfortunately brought the COB (Wide chip) style LED rather than CREE or Philips-Luxeons.

These Wide Chip will never attain good focus no matter what you do. Because the Chips is wider than Halogen Filament and also not in proper position.

2. No LED will give you 8000 Lumens. These by rough estimates are 2000 Lumens per side. Typical Chinese advertising is the culprit here.

3. HIDs never work well in High beam. It kills them quickly due to hot starts.
LED could work. If Ciaz uses Same bulbs for High & Low beams (XUV does), Stuff the current Wide chip COB LED bulbs in High beam, and get good ones for low beam with proper cutoff.

Thanks for your valuable comments Alpha!

1. Awaiting Wall pic.
2. I've had better success with 4300k HID kit in H8 Fogs rather than LED kits. Reason is simple. H8 LEDs emit lights sideways but HID bulb has 360 Degree light. Fog Reflectors mate better with HID kits.

My XUV & I10 now both have 35w 4300k HID kits. XUV is H8. i10 is H27.
I can see distinct fog cutoff and pattern is neat. You can check pics in my 4300k HID kit review.
