Congrats bro. Awesome photos you have shared here.
I too have always thought Ciaz to be a different breed from MS which doesn't fit into their fleet of cars. I always stare at it everytime I see one (in my apartment parking lot [:D])

Wish you many happy miles on the car.

Hi,
Congratulations on your new Maruti Suzuki Ciaz.
Wishes to clock many more miles without issues.
Thank you Ambylovers.

Congrats for your new ride[clap]

BTW, the last pic is from Malai kovil(Anjaneyar Temple) where I used to visit every Thursday. even you can see my apartment from Malai kovil [;)]
Thanks. Nice to hear that you are also coming there regularly. Since I am also near by (Guduvanchery), that is one of my favorite spots for weekends.

Congrats bro. Awesome photos you have shared here.

Exactly. I feel the same, especially whenever I look at the dashboard. Thats definitely not looking Marutish , despite couple parts from the existing models.

I am finding reasons to take the Cobra out [:)], visited Srirangam recently. Roughly 600+ miles up and down , awesome ride it was. With 4 passengers on board + luggage, Ciaz performed fantastically. In fact the ride was more fun with added load.

Congrats on your new ride. Did you apply the sunfilms. If yes, how much did it cost you. how is the temperature difference before and after fixing it.

I applied 3M film just before the Srirangam trip.I do feel the difference after applying the sun film. It costed only 3.5K, I am not sure if is original or not, I do see the 3M watermark and when I checked the box it was mentioned a 3M product. I dont know what else to check.

Cobra attracts cobra
Strange thing happened today. It was around 10am , I had parked the car on the street and getting ready for the office. When I casually looked at the gate I noticed a big snake trying to enter into the portico. The moment I started running towards it ,it noticed me and took a U turn and went straight under the car , I quickly jumped the other side of the car ..but no it didn't come out. The car was parked at the middle of the street (mine is dead end , so I don't care about the traffic [:)]) and any other place for it to hide is minimum 10-15 feet away from the car. I dont think it can be that much fast to hide without me noticing. So i thought it must be somewhere hiding under that car and waited for sometime, nope it didn't come out. I knocked with a stick as much as possible still no luck. It was getting late for office so no other way I had to drive to office. Now I am not sure it is still in the car or dropped somewhere. Has this happened to anybody ? Can it enter into the car ? Having snake as co passenger is definitely not going to be a pleasant experience [:)]

I would suggest to get car thoroughly check to ensure the snake is not hiding anywhere inside. This might not be a pleasant surprise to have it as co passenger

Thats true, but due to my work pressure I haven't had a chance to take it to the workshop. I haven't seen it again after that, so I believe it has left the car...

Congrats on buying the most VFM sedan in India. A very sensible choice.[clap]

Chrome belt line really changed the look of the vehicle [clap].
Exactly [:)] In fact this is something I wanted on day 1 itself. But dealer didn't have stock so I had to go back after couple days to get it installed.

Do you still use the magnetic sunshade after applying sunfilms?
Depends on the temperature outside , I use sunshade if it is very hot/bright sunny day , otherwise I keep it in the trunk .

Thanks for your wishes.
This will help only if the fog is inside the windshield right ? I think turning on this only aggravated the problem.
Ohh. In that case, the issue might be having the AC on with upper level airflow when it is really humid outside. What you are doing is freezing the glass and the outside moisture condenses on it.
Set your mode control to mix the air partly down to the floor and less out the upper vents. Use your wipers if you need to until the glass warms up enough not to fog up. And turn off your defroster.
Although its not possible in Chennai weather, try driving with windows open using blower only for some time so that the windshield temperature becomes more or less equal to ambient temperature.
