I didn't get my bike on Saturday as it was a shutdown in Bangalore by pro-kannada activist.

Got my TB350 "Rolling Thunder with Lightening"- RTL, yesterday. Few pics to start with. Soon will start a new ownership thread! The bike till now is awesome. More slow you ride, more fun it is. The mild thumping make you feel everything is going in slow motion. The bike has no issue till now (30 KM ridden). Though I felt clutch wire has become bit loose. The bike starts in one self or a single kick (even at morning.)
Congrats and wish you millions of happy miles. This is nice color and btw I also own TB500 Lightening since 9th March and covered around 700KM.I just loved the power and riding comfort but it lacks refinement and niggle free of Karizma ZMR (previous bike).

Congrats ,so finally you got the bike. I didn't know thay the engine area is black in color.

Anyways , some tips.
1. Don't park the bike on the side stand , always use the main stand.
2. Whenever you start the bike for the first time in a day , always use the kick. The electric start won't last long.
3. Remove any plastic covering you see on your bike. In rainy season that particular part will began to rust.

Man did i miss this thread for so long. gosh cant believe it. well allhyundai cars a nice thread buddy. a few points from my side. the exhaust you have put on your RE will give a unpleasant sound once you cross 80km/h. this will have a effect on your engine as well as it doesnt have the glass wool. its basically a long moulded pipe for good thump. my suggestion would be to go for Wild Boar silencer and on a TB that sounds AWESOME. in case any of your friends have the Wild Boar Silencer change it and you will see the difference the sound would be super smooth and you will fall in love with the bike once again. not that you haveent fallen in love the first time. How do i say it ??? offcourse with experience. i had the same silencer as you sure it gave a wonderful sound but never allowed me to enjoy once past 80km/h. was searching on the net and found a second hand WB by a guy who had sold his ride but was with this silencer got it for half the price of the original one. and now its pure Excitement./ here i have attached the pic of my bull with the madras silencer as well as wild boar. btw mine is a classic 350.

this Pic is with Chennai Silencer

and this one with the wild Board Reverse Cone

i had booked TBTS 500 stone color however cancelled it once i got this classic. but still miss the TBTS 500 may be next time[;)]. or may be a 700cc RE next time. i service by bull at. Frontline RE showroom. and they are very friendly.Sometimes when they are overloaded with work they are a bit hard to talk to but then that's the nature of all kinds of work isn't it. for now im happy with thier service as well as my bull. Ownership review is something i have thought to write from a long time however not finding enough time due to hectic work schedule. However will be doing it soon.

hii incarnation , i too didn't know you have a RE [:D]

the seller told me that it has glasswool in it(check the packaging as well, it also has the model number ) and it's indeed bassy. i did a lot of search when i was about to buy it.

your's is a little bit different. check the length of the pipe at the end. btw for how much did you buy both of these silencers ?

i checked online and many quoted 5000rs , can't recall. there were 2-3 favorites. i bought this one for 2200 rupees and today only gave the original silencer to the seller for a mere 250 rs [sad] i checked 2 local mechanics and they said there will be no buyers so can't take this.

there's one classic guy with a new silencer , will check for any markings.

ps : all my friends liked this one. [:D]

Thanks AHC. I will surely take care of your points. Few niggles have started. Like loose clutch, side stand indicator not working. I felt smoothness has reduced a bit. Let's see how it goes. BTW got a crash guard in Matt black, chennai quality from showroom for around 1500 INR.

@Ertiga and nanofreak, thank you. I still to get the invoice. Still don't have the price break up. Total price came around 1.62 Lakh INR.

@kentkits - these problems are not that bad even my odo was not working for the first 300 kms. Something related to with the wire.

Post some pics of the guard.

@incarnation - just now saw the guy that i was talking about earlier. He too has a chennai quality silencer. It seemed like the one on your bike. He said he bought it for 3600rs and the silencer was loud and bassy but it was a 500cc engine desert storm.[:D]

Yes its normal wild boar the sound is totally cool not bassy but pleasant this is the kind of silencer which doesn't have any sideffects on the engine. others chennai mades will definitely effect the engine in a long run thats the reason i changed mine to wild boar reverse cone. after you cross 80km/h on the chennai silencers the bike handles vibrates a lot and is uncomfortable while touring. on the other hand wild boar reduces the vibrations and lets you enjoy the ride more than the sound. I guess we buy bikes to enjoy the ride not sound alone.

@incarnation that bag is awesome. I am in a small confusion. To put some thing like that or a normal box. This adds to looks but a box adds to utility.

@ genralmax mine has a locking facility as well. However cannot be used in Rainy season as its leather. in case you need utility box at all times on your bull then i would recommend the one made with fibreglass that you get in any accessory shop. however the bag i have can carry all my safety gears and stuff that i normally carry with me. even laptop and Tabs can be stored with ease. also to find out if its wild Boar silencer or not one easy way is on wild Boar you see a picture of a boar with 2 devilish horns. that mark authenticates its a WB. check for it

Seems a good deal. Though sad to hear that you have parted away from your's TBTS.
Planning to get one more RE?

Mine is now 8 months completed with 3000+ kms on odo. Surprisingly the bike is getting more smoother with each mile. Still looks new. 3rd servicing is over.
