Yeah i do check the oil level from timw to time. Battery is exide. Too costly for a bike.

1.63 is a lot but you'll enjoy the bike. Just make sure you run in your bike as the manual says or else you could face some engine issues.
If you just want to enjoy and not use it for daily purpose you can buy a 2nd hand bike. Will easily save you 50k. But that's your choice.
I bought mine in 2009 for 1 lakh rs and i can sell it in 65k now to a dealer. Resale is good. Electra has better resale compared to TB.
Engine is not the best. Oil will start leaking without any reason , not so good mileage plus expensive services( 1600rs to change oil , air filter and oil filter plus washing from an outside mechanic) parts won't be available in nearby shops.
I still like to ride my TB , but will i ever buy another Bullet ? No.

Current TB350 is way different from the 2009 design.Engine also had come a long way.Those oil leaks don't happen now. The 350CC may strangely feel little less powerful with a passenger. Enfield is offering 2 year warranty also.
Did with the payment. Had a big fight. Almost canceled the booking. The employees at RE thinks they are head of the nation. Behaved as if I am a begger. Wrote an application to cancel and then the chairman of Sai Ram Autocraft came and apologized. Though will get the bike within next 2-3 days, still lost all respect for RE. Not at all feeling happy or excited.

What happened? Like i said before they behave like this because people are crazy for bullet. They don't need advertisment because people blindly go for RE.
I faced that electric starter problem. It became dead and my friend's new classic has the same problem. And my bike has some metal parts and in the new one they are made of plastic.
But i can't comment on the oil leaks since haven't asked my friend about the same but obviously they must have done some improvements.

Got a new silencer plus a new leg guard plus a new horn today
Silencer - harley type , not that dhug-dgug sound. Silencer was from madras "Chennai Quality"
Cost - 2200 rs.
Labor to fit - 50 rs from a local mechanic :p
The sound really has changed. The stock silencer had some sound even on idle but this one at idle has low sound but while accelerating it really feels like that harley sound. i made a video but the sound didn't Come as original in the video. Will record again and post.
Leg Guard - Butterfly Design Chennai Made
Cost - 900 rupees.
Labor to fit - 40 rupees.
Will post the pic tomorrow. Have uploaded the old leg guard(6 years old)
Horn - Hella twin Tone
Cost - 500 rupees
Labor to fit - 150 rs including wire and a relay.
Will post pic tomorrow.

Chrome has chipped away. Rubbing won't help. I was thinking to put black vinyl that is used on cars. Will see if it sticks.

Wow that sucks. Maybe they are holding since they don't have the bike yet. They create false waiting period. And tgey sell most bikes in black ranging between 5-10k. Even my cousin was told to pay extra to get the delivery early but since they were not giving the color that he chose he had to wait.
Every saturday they get new bikes from the factort , at least here in dehi. If they have so much orders why aren't they gone till on Monday.

I didn't get my bike on Saturday as it was a shutdown in Bangalore by pro-kannada activist.
Got my TB350 "Rolling Thunder with Lightening"- RTL, yesterday. Few pics to start with. Soon will start a new ownership thread! The bike till now is awesome. More slow you ride, more fun it is. The mild thumping make you feel everything is going in slow motion. The bike has no issue till now (30 KM ridden). Though I felt clutch wire has become bit loose. The bike starts in one self or a single kick (even at morning.)
