Hello Shrijit,
Nice to see an owner who is so attached to his ride. Your Omni looks neat.
Enjoy many more happy memorable drives.
Incase you want to improve comfort levels, you can go for composite material leaf springs. It works wonders on my SB308.

Happy new year
Cheers
Thanks Sir.I went through your thread an unerstood the concept of leaf springs.Even your car is neat. Are the monograms original in your car?
Happy new Year to you too.

Thank you. I try my best to keep her that way.
She needs a new paintjob.
Still a student, so gotta wait till I go all bonkers on that :D. Don't call me 'sir' buddy.
Yes, the monogram is original. The rear badges were put last year. You still get them.

Paint is fine even if it fades. But I stay in the coastal region, so we have to take precautions for rusting issues. Take apart everything and apply anti rust coats. Take care of any rusts in some corner or the other.
She spent most of her life in Bangalore. So she survived so far without much rust issues. Although now, there are a few spots.

Really? Still, call me by my name. Its fine buddy.
And nice to see you here at an young age.

Saw this pretty original Omni, perhaps the same year model as yours.

Notice the OMNI emblem. Its what originally the car came with.

Yes it was spotted at my MASS. The car had everything original including the monograms at the rear. Not sure if the paint was original. Experts may clarify this part.

Crash!
As usual, the car is back to the sloping area.I went to start the car today half an hour ago.In the 1st attempt, the car was in gear position,It acclerated forward.I immediately braked and put the gear back to neutral position. Then,I started it again-this time everything went fine and I went back inside my house. And now,I found that the car has moved forward to a great extent.Luckily the Jazz was'nt there and so nothing serious happened.Perhaps,my father will back the car to the slope.See how dangerous it is!In March,I will give a touchup to the bumpers as the second coat has'nt been applied properly.

the slope issues has nothing to do with sedan or new car/Old car.
just ensure your handbrake is. properly applied and vehicle is parked in gear. some Stone/brick can be used to stop tyres as well.
