My cousin sis has a Beat Diesel. I had my eyes popped out when she told me that she gets around 20-22 in city drives (she travels from noida to gurgaon daily) and upto 26-27 on highways.

I think Xylo should come in this list too. With mine, i got around 15.5 kmpl 40% city and 60% highway and 90% AC turned on. I think thats spectactular.

I was shocked to hear this, but read it on Hyundai i20 Fan Club page on facebook that an owner got a whopping 28kmpl in his i20 1.4 Diesel.
Well, now I believe it because after using a friend's i20 diesel for a week I too got an excellent 18.5kmpl !! So indeed its a fuel efficient car and a great Value for money.

How many o you people are going to believe that my chauffy managed to churn out 21.4 kpl overall from a Corolla Altis Diesel...
And 21.4 kpl overall means the mileage on highway would have been somewhere on the north of 23 kpl..

My corolla altis diesel gives me 16.5 to 17 kmpl in city, (mostly I dont cross 4th gear), must be north of 20 on the highways. Great going by vipul getting 20 in city!

Rest,the overall FE never goes above 18-19 kpl during day time.

Guys hold on!!New maruti 800 Diesel will give 30 Kmpl. Hope that will be most reliable and fuel efficient car. This may help Maruti create another segment like Alto or 800.
