Re: Monthly Discounts / Schemes on Indian Cars.

The Vento deal seems to have a catch or fine print which says that the old car you are trading in should be valued at not less than half price of a new car in the same make & model. so it seems like them saying, don't bring in a very old car to trade in!

Re: Monthly Discounts / Schemes on Indian Cars.

Hi Mr.RaviKiran,
No, I haven't booked under the scheme. reasons: 1. They are opaque in the financing and say limited to Diesel Ones that too2012 VINs. 2. I have company loan scheme with very liberal interest.
mr. ravikiran, seems like I missed the AD by skoda. Anyway, As I was not keen on outside Finance, never persued it with skoda. Longtime wish is to have a german machine and the first opportune time, Got this car. But Now I have changed my booking to Diesel as my colleagues succeeded in their arguments that any time the differential in petrol and diesel will remain in te same ratio, given the political necessities and it makes sense to switch over. Along with that I have changed the colour to Bright silver as the car appears bigger.

Maruti Swift is available at a discount for the first time since its launch, and there's no waiting for delivery.

Maruti now offers a straightRs5,000 cash corporate discount on Swift that covers its highly sought-after diesel variant and promises instant delivery, the person said. Some dealers too are offering cash discounts on Swift besides up to Rs10,000 off on select variants of the hugely successful Dzire compact sedan in select markets like Bangalore and Mumbai to increase footfalls in the showrooms

Just happend to see an amaze (not yet opened for public view). Good looking and inside it appears some thing like jazz. (Actually the car was under lock and couldn't gain entry). I think the cost may be a little premium over Dzire with all the safety features as standard. They may launch on 16th April. Cheers.

Tata Aria now available with a Rs 2.5 lakh discount

How do you get rid of stocks of your slow-selling cars? Discounts and some more. Tata is doing just that with it’s ambitious first crossover, the Aria. The Aria as one may recollect didn’t set the sales chart on fire and the company had been already doling out discounts within a few months of it's launch. Tata even rolled out a comparatively affordable 4x2 variant, which still didn’t leave the showrooms as much as the company would have liked. In a bid to boost sales now, Tata is offering as much as Rs 2 lakhs discount on Arias which were manufactured last year. Even for cars manufactured in 2013, the manufacturer is ready to give a Rs 50,000 discount along with loyalty bonus.

Tata is looking to launch the facelifted Aria with a 6-speed auto box (showcased at the Geneva Auto Show) sometime this year.

Better to acquire it now otherwise you will have to loose up your pockets much after this month as the prices are on a hike with the entry of new budget

A failed attempt. Tata aria looks majestic and good but minor niggles will always be an issue. Trouble free life similar to toyotas and suzukis has never been TATA's strength. the whole offer is a bit similar to the Kizashi one. However if they can strip everything, make it a bit reliable and retail it around 8-10 Lakhs, it can prove to be a taxi worthy muv

Is that exchange bonus or value of the car itself? You might fetch a better price by selling the car to an individual (depending upon condition of course).
