Re: Mitsubishi Pajero Sport Test Drive Review

Lots of Pajero (Montero in India), Triton (Pickup truck), Lancers and ASX (small cross over) are seen on roads. But some people stay away from Mitsubishi as their most vehicles are having 4 star crash rating. But people usually say good about Mitsubishi's car. These are reliable machine and cheap to maintain as well.

P.S. ASX is my wife's favorite car here. [;)]

Thanks a lot
The 4* rated pajero sport in Australia has how many airbags ? Does it have ESP there ?

Edit - it says side front airbags , what does that mean any idea ? But number of airbags is not listed .

The crucial point here is 4 * ratings secured on with what equipments ?

Ironrock - the Indian pajero sport top model has how many airbags ?

Slightly OT for the thread I wish we had such an attitude in India on safety as well(big thumbs up to the aussies!). We have to make compromises on safety due to budgetary reason, which is a reality of life in India. But i hope we have enough intelligence to not question the importance of safety equipment's in the first place and raise awareness of this, especially on forums like ours.

I think it is same for all developed countries, the car without safety features wont be allowed to sell. But in India, until and unless these babugiris is not wiped out, nothing much good can be happen for the common man. Plus the SAs at dealers says, airbags and ABS are only for those who drive cars very fast and mostly make highway trips. [frustration]

Re: Mitsubishi Pajero Sport Test Drive Review

Mitsubishi Pajero Sport comes with different options here in Kuwait.

Mitsubishi Pajero Sport is now available in 6Cylinder, 3500cc, 184HP Petrol Engine option. Interestingly the tyre size is 265/65R16. It is having Anti Theft Alarm System.
Any details of this Anti Theft Alarm?

Wow. What a great indepth and genuine review. It really highlights all the aspects of a great vehicle. Wish Mitsubishi could pamper us with more creature comforts in a 25lakh vehicle.

anti theft is standard is all cars these days, its just the immobilser, though different manufacturers have different depths to which these work.

Re: Mitsubishi Pajero Sport Test Drive Review

4-Speed Automatic Mitsubishi Pajero Sport.

This picture is recalled from page 1. Manual Transmission.

The following picture is about 4-Speed Automatic Transmission with SPORTs mode. This Pajero Sport is left hand drive (LHD) available in Middle East.
Also, note the fire extinguisher fitted to passenger seat. The fire extinguisher is a must here. The volume of the fire extinguisher must be according to engine size. Floor mats are standard, and come with vehicle.

Yes. They are selling 4-Speed Automatic. Attached is the picture of Pajero Sport 2013, with MID. MID is a standard option available in all variants (6 Cylinder, 4 Cylinder). Audio is Rock Fosgate System. The sound quality is super.

Re: Mitsubishi Pajero Sport Test Drive Review

The pre anniversary edition in India has the exact same MID and location, but with the anniversary edition they replaced it with a all integrated DVD/navigation touch screen unit.
In this process they lost the mid.

If you see my Pajero it has both as i told them clearly i want both - i hence fitted the MID where the rockford unit is placed currently in the above pic - so got them both - i find the MID extremely useful!

Re: Mitsubishi Pajero Sport Test Drive Review

Iron Rock, a friend wants to know what’s the standard warranty on Pajero. There is no information on their official website. Requesting to shed light on the same.

Drive Safe,
