@poloman & rightnow - first, I was also confused. But when I checked within the Decoding Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). I found that this was a 2012 model which was manufactured on 08.09.2011 & delivered to me on 03.10.2011!

No, I haven't opted for extended warranty as I can get it within one year from date of delivery. So may be, in a few months I might get it, and also I have to see whether extended warranty is really a wise choice.
@Poloman (Nikhil Mehta): Yesterday i saw your post in a classified section of other automotive forum, so you are selling your Polo petrol and this car was gifted to you by your inlaws and you already had the sister car called vento as mentioned in your ad, sad news for all of us.
So when you are posting the ownership review of Vento is that diesel or Petrol?

There isn't any difference!
I am also confused whether to go for extended warranty or not. If the parts of a vehicle is in faulty condition. Then, it should start the problem in the first 2 years itself instead of the 3rd or 4th year. Well, Just my view!
Let me clarify that highways in Delhi are no more highways especially during peak hours. So, I mostly get 13-14 Kmpl including bumper to bumper traffic, traffic jams, red lights, and only a small part of highway.
So in 20% highway and 80% city like conditions, I am getting 13-14 Kmpl. I guess its pretty good.
