These are the pics of mileage I got while coming to office (extremely sorry for bad pics)
At 8:41 a.m near akshardham. [12.9 KMpl]
At 8:43 a little ahead near nizamuddin bridge [13.3 Kmpl]
I am surprised how it got increased by 0.4 kmpl within two minutes.
Next one was on barapula: [14.1 kmpl]
This one is when I stopped at office, Bhikaji Cama place [14.2 Kmpl]
The traffic was relatively smooth today. But I faced bumper to bumper in near Indira puram. So, 30% highway and 70% city like conditions I got the above mileage. I hope it goes on improving..

I am extremely sorry buddy, I took them while on the move. I thought it was better to slow down a bit and take the pics rather than pull over on busy roads which would have disturbed the traffic more

Yep seriously it was also shocking for me, but he checked this twice from tank full to tank full method, other Polo petrol owner on this forum please confirm your Polo fuel average too.

Rightnow i noticed a interesting thing ARAI approved figure for Polo petrol is 17.24 kmpl and Volkswagen claims that the Polo Petrol is capable of a fuel economy of 15.26 kmpl.
I think average fuel consumption for Polo petrol would be between 15-16kmpl depending upon the traffic and individual driving habit what say?

ARAI claimed is 17.24 and your friend is getting 17

Polo petrol is capable of 15-16 in highways and in city conditions with 100 percent AC do not expect anything above 12 .
BTW 12-13 is a good one in city traffic

I havent got a figure of 17 kmpl yet as I havent exclusively driven on highways. For city driving 17 is almost impossible, even 15 is also hard to attain. But still smooth driving definitely improves FE.
You posted a pic showing 17.6 kmpl few days back- what were the % of highway and city if you remember.
