No, as when i installed the green one,its very visible at night bro
But green was not suited for me, friends suggested me to change the color,
So i desided to remove it mean while
Now i am in idea of making it white or red.

But i am thinking of opening the headlamp assembly just for a aftermarket drl.
Fog drl is very good idea,
Should i go for led h8 lamp or led one?
using any other colour than white or yellow in the front of car is illegal .

for the fog you can get h8 hid (useful ) or h8 led bulbs (just for show )

if you want seperate unit, you can mount 1w star leds on aluminium rods to make a very bright drl.

Ya,for fog hid will be good as drl, but not as fog light at night, but what about at 3000k halogen?

What led is that? Can you get me any datasheet or model no?

My choice is first row, second column. > and <. Too much work outs may loose the front appeal. Your experiments are interesting. Keep Going.
First row ?
Second coloumn? Which one dude?

you can get 3000k HID man.
First finalize what you want to do.
we're here to show how to do.
I have dedided not to have hids without projectors, so
I will install halogen in fog unit.

Coming to drl, i will have to deside , because in DIY department , drl are not that great compared to reflector type cree led drl from hella and Philips which costs 6 to 7 k
So i desided not to have drl Now .
But i will make the center reflector illumination part which will be nice at night.

I am in scearch for led strip which is 12v and i dont want a blue tint in LEDs.
Can you specifically mention any led strip with led having pure White output ?

see if 5630 12v strip by Philips is available in India. the leds are 120 lm/w and truly a class apart. these are what major brands use in tubelight replacement.

1mtr = 1 tube light.
go for 5000k tint for pure white output.

next best and most practical is 5050 in reputed names.

perhaps, just like you tore down the led bulb. however, will it look pretty?
ya i will install it in the place i showed in this picture, so when i close the bonnet , it will be hidden, only the reflected light from the center console is visible.

10000 kms report

Hi this is my wagonr stingray 10000 kms ownership report

Am i happy?
Yes, yes,yes
Why?
Looks man looks!
I can just see many eyes on road seeing stingray and look at its style and attractive red .

Average mileage:

This is something i need to be true about, this not for any sake i fake the numbers .

In city you can make waggy to get 12kmpl or 24kmpl
Its in your driving style

In highway you can get 14kmpl to 33kmpl , yes 33

Oh ok what i get? Normally?

I get 18 solid in city
And
22 to 24 at highways

In hill station trip 50% hills
I got 22kmpl

So whats the story about 33kmpl?

One fine day , i forgot my purse at home, also fuel was too low.
I had to visit a company located 110kms from my place, i travelled office in a hurry and did not notice the low fuel,
Started travelling to the place in just a few kms i found there was no fuel in car and i did not have any money.
As i know a guy a petrol bunk owner, i did a fuel for 500rs, worth 70rs per liter .
I know its not sufficient, but the company i visit ill get some funds ,so in returning ill fuel it.
Started and in few kms i reached highways, kept my mid at 30kmpl and was cruising at 70kmpl till the company, i shocked to see i still got 2points of fuel from total 3points when i refuelled
The avg meter was 30kmpl ,seriously shocked .
Eventually i did not get the money from that office ,and as i know 2points is enough to return,as soon as i started and in a km fuel turned 1 point in 160kms of travel it started blinking
I was worried but i trusted my waggy , continued to pace in 30kmpl mark ,
I finally reached home with blinking fuel.must be almost empty,
It was a trip of 215kms

I know some one reading it may feel i lied, but this i needed to share it with you guys,
I did not use AC and windows where 20% down . 100% highway use.

Ok coming to engine refinement
Car after oil service and full lubrication and check up, it was a all new beast.
I tested my rev limiter first time
For service bill you can see it in two pages back.

Engine was smoother now and gave me bit more throttle response than before .

Upgrades from stock?
Infinity sprakers in box in rear and jbl cx 6.5in speakers in front door.
You are rocking the roads and your ears. Its enough for our human ear. Bass is extreme . ie. 50 % more sound and clarity than stock.

Hid , 6000k h7 kit, just a oem swap, no cutting wires
Light output 30% more with clean spread

Diys
Interior dome light led
Premium carpets

Car still looks new, thanks for my hands for special care, you can see my recent pictures in the thread.

Future mods
Fog lamp upgrade
3000k ones
Led hella drl
Grill illumination better ones than stupid 2500rs accessory i paid in stingray pack.

Issues i faced

Here comes the dark part.

Door makes noise at rough roads only a little but in petrol car you hear those first
Fixed it in service. They padded my door interiors with some material, they told not to open it again so cant post pictures

Scratches in windshield, due to me, i mistakenly thought glasses wont get scratch, i used vim scrotch bite to wash it to clean insect marks, had some scratch only visible at night drive, nothing too much but can be noticed if watched well

The wheel arch had a chrome lining as a premium touch, it had a rubber padding in its edges, it started coming out,i need to get them back in every washing, finally stick them using fevicol

Met with an accident.
The reports are in thread. Links are in first page

Then, the paint quality is average, but you get what you payed for. True!

So to whar factor i recommended wagonr stingray?

Factor 1 #looks
Factor 2 #space
Factor 3 #mileage

Only downside?
#bodyroll
Its a tall boy though not a race car.
A stiffened suspension will solve the problem but you wont know when its going to topple . :D

Needed to be improved?

More wider wheel base and stiffer suspension
Will make this car segment best!

Little confused. So asking you few questions..

*Before filling for Rs.500, how many blocks were showing in the fuel gauge? One Block or a Blinking block?
*And the total number of Blocks in the fuel gauge after filling?

It was blinking before i refuelled
Total 10 blocks
Its 35lr tank, if you theoretically calulate.
Its 3.5 l per point
For three point ~10 lrs.
But if i fill for 500rs or ~7.5 liters
Only 2have to glow, but in last 4points its something different, its not that 35%10 points calculations.
I regularly fillup for 500rs.
I get three points always
Even if i fill for 1000rs. I comes to 5 points. But if i fill for 1500rs it in creases to 7th point only. Not the 8th theatrically

Sorry, my question was how many blocks were there after filling for Rs.500/-

In my car A-star its 10 blocks. Could you please confirm about yours? AFAIK Wagonr Stingray got its fuel gauge division of 8 blocks instead of 10.
