Re: Maruti Suzuki Ritz LDI -Glistening Gray-Ownership Review

Friends

I am back with a query. I was driving my Ritz continuous since last three days within the city, but bit hectic where clutch usage was more due to traffic and speed breakers.

I found today after coming back to home after a 40km hectic traffic drive, my left leg was bit painful.

Is that common or something wrong with clutch of my car as it may be bit hard. Or I am not driving my car much these days, so I got this pain since I drove the car for two days continuously for closely 150km within the city

^^ If you find the smoothness of clutch play normal, then just dont worry. Traffic condition does play a part. 50 kms driving in city traffic would be more demanding than a 500 kms highway drive. If one has the habit of using half clutch method, then situation would be even bad.

Btw, I remember similar query on TAI earlier. Unable to recollect [thinking]

Thank you CF, yeah may be I have a habit of half clutch as Ritz clutch is not like Punto which is too long to engage. But still the diesel vehicle clutch is bit hard than a petrol one it seems, anyway my Ritz is just 500km ODO away for its 20k service, so I will mention this to check it out.[:)]

Punto's long clutch made me get rid off half clutch usage which I was so used to in Alto. And anyways its bad for clutch life as well. Due to good low end torque of Mjd / ddis, one can easily do away with half clutch usage. Its just matter of practice.

Till service, enjoy your Ritz without worrying about yhe clutch [thumbsup]

No, the front power windows are still pending as lot of priorities are stopping them.

If you want to get them on your car, then just close your eyes and get them done from the Maruti dealer, the brand is RD. Never go with any other brand or car decor shop as you will land in troubles[:)]

@Gurrala74;
Yes i agree I will be going in for PW front in one or two days from MGA only
But i still wanted to find out how they will look beforehand if somebody has fitted them.

One more thing these are the MGA pw on alto k10-
pw.png

Now the colour of the ritz doorpad is darker grey from that of alto .I am afraid that the colour of the console will not match and it will look out of place

what do u say ??

I have seen them while fitting on some bodys car, do not worry man they really look good and one can never notice that they are fitted later on. So go ahead with MGA. See think of the reliability of those rather than their color match as I have seen lot of horror stories of other makes installed and kept on giving problems always

Yes sir i will only go in for MGA PW.In fact i know it for sure that there r some accessories which should only be fitted in showroom and PW is one of them.
Just had a doubt about the Dark grey / light grey colour mismatch in ritz . In alto there is no such problem.

Did you get your insurance done, please post your experience on same. There was a thread running where Maruti dealers are cheating/forging on insurance.

@Anshuman

I have paid for it, the verification from Maruti is finished and I am waiting for the insurance copy to come, I just enquired about it today and they said I will get it within next 2 to 3 days. I do not know anything about that cheating/forging by Maruti, what is that ??
