The position of the front clamps (and therefore the rear too) need to be shifted a bit towards the rear I think, as visible in the 2nd pic.

Anyway this is a flexible fitting, so really does not matter.

The only fittings that I am planning is the rear and front parking sensor, seat covers (confused on which one, no leather), camera and a system change to the Vishakhapatnam guy's gps Bluetooth system.

Let's see what all I am able to do.

This weekend we shall be travelling to Jaipur (9 of us, and 1 or 2 of our drivers), both the Ertiga and Civic will go. Luggage will definitely have to be put on the roof. Let's see how the Ertiga fares then. I will give a write up about the same, after the trip.

Hi all, I am posting this update after driving my Ertiga ZDi for 650 kms on highway mostly (Bangalore - Erode - Bangalore), i have got 19.1kms/litre. I think this quiet decent mileage. I have few accessories upgrade, please have a look. There are two accessories i am still looking for : 1. roof rail 2. Front Gril and Fog lamp Chrome finish. Lets see my luck. Since I have upgraded my ZDi original Audio system(console) if anyone LX(D)/VX(D) owners looking for the ZX(D) original system, please let me know i can sell it to you (from Bangalore , on hand or post)

Are those seats nappa leather? what price did you pay for it ?
My dealer quoted Rs: 44,000 for all nappa seats including steering wheel and gear knob.

Dear All,

I am following the ownership reviews of ERTIGA for quite some time. Basis all the reviews I read and done some personal fact findings I booked ERTIGA ZDI (without alloys) on 4th of Nov,12. Dealer promised to deliver the vehicle on 26th of Nov. Just wanted to check where i can get the reverse parking sensor alongwith camera(both in one) in and around delhi which one is the best and what is the cost for the same.

ERTIGA comes with an engine immobilizer is it good to get gps supported security device? if yes then what are the options and prices.

Please update the perfermance of 2 Din Head Unit Supplied by Vizag Dealer. if any changes required for installation of HU or it is like OE fit. i am planning to get the same by him

I spoke to Vizag dealer, he quoted around Rs 4.5k for MapMyIndia maps on SD card. Is it same offer you had?
BTW, I got my ZXI Granite Grey yesterday evening.

Same quote to me too. But still out of stock I think. And how does the system install is still to be clarified, but he says he has supplied a number of pieces in Jaipur, so I will simply go there and get it installed.

Any idea of the reliability of the system, and longest invite or quality etc.?

I have installed a Quest roof carrier. It is creating a whistling noise above 80 kmh. How do I stop this, when the carrier is up? Putting luggage on the carrier also did not solve the problem.

I want to change HU to Vizag dealer OEM part. Vizag dealer is offering MMI card for additional price. Others like Starrp, etc have mentioned it earlier. Some of them in bangalore have also installed this unit & seems to be working fine on all fronts. Most of them installed at Konark Jayanagar, I think. Petrol verion is very good. I was driving Swift (VXI). Compared to that, pick up is great. Also, shocks look solid & feels like driving SUV due to height & pick up. I had originally booked Dusky Brown but I changed my mind 2 weeks into Delivery. Luckly, I got it quickly. I had booked exactly 3 months back.

He also told me that it is out-of-stock & fresh stock is expecting in couple of days. According to him & others in this thread, it looks to integrate & work well including the steering wheel controls. I think it is Suzuki OEM part from Indonasia. Vizag seller said he sold many units already. If you search this thread, you may find photos & comments on this HU.
