Also i have checked twice and now confirming that the fuel indicator light light turns on when you have 10L of fuel in the tank [:D] , so don't panic.

Cheers,
Akash
Hi Akash,

10L in reserve sounds wrong to me. I was being told by the SE that reserve capacity is 5 Liters.

My fuel gauge is little over the empty line, I filled 35 Liters to bring the tank full. Total capacity is only 45L.

I also vouch that Fuel warning light comes on when there is about 10 liters balance. When I got my car, the dealer filled five litres of Diesel and within 1 km I filled in 45 litres. Next fill onwards, when the light came on I drove for another 15 km before filling 34.5 litres and 33 litres, today i had half tank mark and filled in 20.45 litres.

10 L!!??
Are you sure? How did you know that?

Congrats Shivats!
How did you convinced maruti's dealer for the discount?
Whenever I ask them for any discount, they simply say "Sir, everything is computerised here, every things price is on listed and billing is done from maruti's website only"
Please share your secret for convincing them.
Hi All,

The moment the fuel came up , i went for a top up , and the auto-cut happened at 35.5 litres , which makes it clear that the fuel indicator light turns on at 10L.. [glasses]

Shivats,

Total fuel tank capacity is 45 Liters only..Dealer filled 5 + you filled 45 = 50 Liters..Am I missing something [confused]..

I completely agree with the car review. I just took delivery of Ertiga Vdi on Wednesday in Bangalore. Must say the car is excellent. And i wanted to ask the other fellow owners of this monster that , is the rear AC giving completely cool air or medium cool air.

Congrats Vishal!
Is it Dusky brown colour?
Your car is looking like a Beast! [evil]
Yes, it is giving completely cool air, some times I feel that it is giving cooler air than the front vents.
Drive for few days and keep using the a/c and notice the same thing after few days.
Congrats again!! [:)]

This is my first post in this forum. Gone through the entire ertiga thread.
Congrats to all Ertiga owners!!!
still waiting for my Siver Zdi, booked on 16th April. Last week my dealer offered me Silver Vdi but i have denied that. They have said, most probably car will be delivered in June itself.
According to them Vdi is easy to get Zdi production is less, out 0f 24 diesel ertigas sold by them only 4 were Zdi.

Hi Guys! i need a suggestion.

I booked my Ertiga ZDI on 16th April 12 from Apra Auto Gurgaon, i have been told that my waiting period is 12 to 14 weeks to which i agree and signed.

few days back i got letter from Dealer that waiting has been increased from 32-36 weeks, what could be the case? they say that if you want VDi we can try giving that in a month's time

I am totally irritated by maruti dealer, when i asked them what is the reason for the delay they cleverly told that we got this intimating email from Maruti. when asked to send me that email, they had never send the email to me. I saw the mannual register they maintain and my number of booking is 38 and first 7 of them are delivered.

1. Is there some freek mind of the dealer? i mean is he trying to give some favour to big guys by delivering their car earlier?
2. Is it common with all you are members of this forum and are from different cities.
3. Can i file a complaint against Maruti for further delaying delivery of the car?
4. Is it a common practice for the delears to keep on shifting the delivering milestone?
Please help me understand

Thank You

Nice review and have been reading this review since last 3 weeks. I have also booked Ertiga ZDI in Pune. I have been asked to wait for 4.5 months and now dealer is suggesting VDI if I need early deliver.

Very happy to see ownership experiences from those who have got delivery.

Many many congrats. Which color it is, the 2nd picture suggests it's red while 1st one is saying it's black or brown. Am I not able to distinguish, but it's looking very very very bold and gorgeous.

Its the same case of everyone buddy. ZDI production is very less when compared to VDI. Maruti didn't expect much demand for the ZDI!

and ya the color is GRANITE GREY
congrats on your vehicle.
Drive safe!
