- Though I am short person 5'2 No issues for blind spot on A pillar, good seat height adjust
...
Will update more as I am Going for long drive tonight
Congratulations atlex123!!![clap]
Will be eagerly waiting for your long drive update. I really appreciate if you can post that report in next day or two.

How high can the driver seat be adjusted from its original position? I'm planning/evaluating for a sigma/delta version which do not have a seat height adjustment feature. Can a 5'9" guy get a clear road view for driving from the original position (like in wagonR)?

Thanks

Hi nkonamme/atlex123.

I hear some people comment that 'The sheet metal is really thin, evident when you lift open the bonnet'.
Do you agree with the same? Or you feel that is good enough strong?

Planning to visit a Nexa and get it confirmed. I'm not sure if the SA will be true to his heart or not. That's why I would like to have your views as well on this.

Thanks
Ajay

I don't find the sheet metal to be very thin.Definitely it's not upto level of European cars.Since Baleno is a global car, produced in India,I don't think safety would be compromised.Crash tests will be out once exports start early next year. Also there are crumple zones in Baleno in like my Sx4.I had met with very bad accident in SX4 and Airbags plus crumple zones saved my life

Good to hear that the car saved you. So, I'm sure you would have thought about safety and security a lot before buying Baleno...
Do you think the metal sheet of Baleno is up to the same level to that of SX4?[thinking]

Hai , can you control the brightness of MID ,can you change the color of the car shown in MID ( it shows which door is open) and can you check whether the range of distance to empty is accurate and also the economy.

SX4 is a heavy car, weighing 1245 kgs,350 kgs heavier than Baleno. It's the crumple zones which come into play and not the weight of car.Front crumple zones of SX4 took the primary impact and Airbags did help.I saw same design of crumple zones in Baleno too. Also chasis of Baleno is 10 percent stiffer than swift. Also Baleno would be the only maruti car to be exported to Japan from India. So I have a strong feeling safety won't be compromised.
Cheers!!

Thanks a lot for these details. It is indeed encouraging and confidence boosting. And takes away my unknown fears.
Any idea if they are exporting the same body that we get here to Japan?

No there is. No g. Gray colour in MID2nd colour in above image is very light gray colour or may be silver both looks same in MID in fact 1st (white) and 2nd (silver/light gray) also looks the same
There is option to change the brightness when the headlights are on we can control the meter illumination intensity
Other thing I notice is if you put your headlights in auto mode all internal buttons on dashboard illuminates in orange colour and if you put headlights in manual mode internal buttons not shines.

I did not found any Option to change the brightness or change font colour. I will check in manual and let you no.

Seeing the color options, so F.Red and G.Grey colors are missing. [cry]
If possible and if it is not too much of a trouble, can you please select each color and take a pic of the MID please.

I can check these things at Nexa but it is about 45kms from my place. [frustration]
