How is the riding position? Are you able to adjust to an ideal position with great front visibility and a proper sense of proportion of the car? That is, knowing the exact boundaries of the car, where it ends.? Also it being a very wide car, how is it in traffic and small roads?
Yes,finding ideal driving position is not at all difficult. Thanks to height adjustable seat, tilt and telescopic steering wheel. All round visibility is way better than my SX4.Baleno doesn't feel cumbersome to drive in traffic.

1. How is the drive feel, is it any different compared to Swift ?
2. How is the entry/exit of rear seats ?
3. How are Front Seats ? Are they as good as Swifts ?
4. Do you feel the potholes, bumps filter to the cabin (both in terms of sound/ moment)
5. What is the biggest thing Baleno has impressed you ?
1.Baleno feels more refined than swift petrol.Low end torque is also better, don't know if it's because of 100 kgs lighter or different tuning by suzuki
2.Rear seats are set little low.Elderly might have problem with ingress/egress,definitely can't catch up with my sx4 in this aspect.
3.Front seats are really good.Adequate side bolstering and thigh support
4.Ride quality is superb, only very large potholes unsettles the car.Suspension is softer than my Sx4 and stiffer than my Grand I10
5.VFM buy.Perfect car with all goodies at that price point.Heart wanted Ford Figo Diesel Titanium( 40 k more than my baleno zeta petrol)

congratulations on the. first baleno on tai!!
can you explain more about MID modes? I heard there's a torque chart as well.
MID in Zeta and Alpha trims have advanced functions.Average fuel efficiency,Instantaneous fuel efficiency,Average speed,Distance to empty etc.
Also you can change various settings using MID like auto door lock/unlock,follow me lamps, foot well lamps,Anti theft functions etc.
Power/torque chart gets into action only when you pedal the accelerator.I don't think it's reliable.Should look into it properly once.

May I know which one is more comfortable and better ride quality tire option for the passengers sitting back? Delta comes with R15 185mm and Zeta with R16 195mm.

I have not driven delta trim to comment on ride quality.Since it has higher profile tyres, ride should be marginally better

Congrats man ! This is a car to reckon, the reviews were saying, but with your report,it is now for sure to rattle many others. It is always good to have a first hand report of owners. Some more interior photos of the boot and the rear seat from the front seat will be nice.

Thanks buddy!! I will post more pics by tonight.Baleno is priced lesser than Elite i20 and Jazz variant to variant with more features.
Also baleno zeta petrol is just 10 k more than Swift ZXI.It has all features of Swift ZXI Plus few additional features

Congrats a TON nkonamme!!!

That is a smashing car.

Did you feel it was under powered on Highways. Did you feel you should have gone for diesel for that extra power/torque or petrol is good enough. Am asking because existing swift petrol owners(my friends) do feel the same on highways/ghats.

I was always a diesel fan.Low end torque and turbo kick with better mileage was USP.Petrol needs to be revved at the expense of mileage for perfomance.Diesel has v good low end torque and 3 rd gear is breeze to overtake. But diesel is very noisy compared to petrol which is dead silent.

i20 and Jazz has far superior diesel engine overall than baleno.
Baleno is around 160 kgs plus lighter than Elite i20 and honda jazz.Baleno diesel offers best in class mileage.Performance would be same or better than i20 and Jazz due to weight advantage. But Maruti could have given 90 hp engine atleast for their premium offering.I think they will plonk 90 hp into upcoming sub 4 M SUV.

in silver the design would be more visible but for me the granite grey looks good. i love this color which suits every car. and i think the scratches will be less visible in this.

This is my first post
Today received my Baleno white alpha petrol
Here are my observations

-Someone asked about empty button next to parking light button RM told It's sensor for keys
My observations
-Very smooth to drive in traffic
- good suspension
-Gear and steering wheel very smooth
-Not found any issues in small or congested road
- had couple of U turns . No issues as turning radius is good
- Lot of info and settings on MID
- Though I am short person 5'2 No issues for blind spot on A pillar, good seat height adjust
- uv cut glass looks good
- people are surely giving 2nd look at signal as there are no balenos on road in Pune yet( I have not seen any on road till today)
AC is powerful
But Nexa exp is not that good nothing premium

Will update more as I am Going for long drive tonight

I too had a confusion between granite grey and premium silver.Display cars were of same colours.Granite grey looks beautiful, but silver makes the car looks wider.Granite grey looks black under shade.Silver is little greyish in baleno and S cross. Both are good colours.I wanted grey, but it was not available in first lot. Also granite grey would be difficult to maintain compared to silver.
