Buddy, thanks for your reply.
I am planning to put LED strips on my headlights (Audi style), would it be a problem in rainy days/or washing when water will pour on the LEDs? Any jugaad to resolve this?

Hi Alto owners, I have bought a used Alto LXI bs3 -2007 model with a odo reading of 58000 kms this aug 2012.

Car gurus:suggest interior/exterior modifications

I would like to upgrade my stock tyres and rims to alloys, as the tyres has done 58k

Suggest some good tyres and alloys

Welcome to TAI !!

This Alto looks be maintained well. You can go for Michelin or BS tyres and Neo or Plati alloys. If you have a Reliance Autozone near to you check there for Tyres and Alloys too.

This color is unique in Alto and the wheel caps also look different from regular ones

@suhas.. That is superb ride. It looks like very well maintained as Gurralla said. Post some interior pics and also the list of expectations/wish list of interiors and exteriors and any budget if you have. this also will help our gurus to give you better suggestions/idea

@ Suhas, Congrats for the Alto buddy and welcome to TAI. Its looking good in this color and well maintained too. Alloys will spice up your Alto for sure. Check out Plati brand. They have good designs for 12 inch and quite reasonable too. I have been using it for couple of years now with no issues.

The wheel caps looks nice. Any alloy with black and chrome finish would suit.

2. Chrome Door handle catch cover
3. Chrome Front grill
3. Chrome Tail light cover
4. Chrome Suzuki logo/ emblem / badge at the rear
5. Chrome/black alloys (12" plati / neo)
6. Fog lamps white(aftermarket)

For chrome accessories I found Galio brand suitable from Galio India





For alloys i have selected 2 models from Neo 12" RALLY Crome Plated and 12" IGNITE BMRL





I would really appreciate, if you could help with the approx cost, feedback, suggestions.

I have planned the below exterior modifications for my Alto.

Please find my suggestions in bold.

1. LED Blinking chrome mirror covers for K10 OVRMS: Available at accessory shops for Rs.1000.
2. Chrome Door handle catch cover:
3. Chrome Front grill
4. Chrome Tail light cover

Points 2, 3, 4 available in a single kit for Rs.750: IMO avoid excessive chrome.

5. Chrome Suzuki logo/ emblem / badge at the rear: Can be a freebie from Suzuki if you have good relations. I got one from them. Still, if you pruchase, it wont cost much.

6. Chrome/black alloys (12" plati / neo): I would suggest you Black rims over silver.

7. Fog lamps white(aftermarket): 750 for aftermarket fogs with bulbs. Change to philips/osram (hardly 100-150 for bulbs) and then seal the assembly.

Finally this Navarathri, I got some time to get new tyres from Reliance autozone, also got chrome stuffs & fog lamps from local accessory shop.

I migrated from tube-type to Michellin energy XM2 tubeless 145/80/R12 with the old rims.

The ride quality is excellent, smooth braking, perfect road grip, good on both highways and city roads.

Good to see your Alto with all those accessories. BTW are those blinkers on the ORVM functional or just show ones? And what about alloys, have you selected any design so far?
