What I don’t LUV:-

9) No 60:40 split last row seat.
Yes, Bro. I had exactly same feeling with my new car Rexton, which had 3rd row seating as sofa, but no 60:40 or 50:50 split seats. The worst thing about this is that there are mods for ICE / headlights etc. but nothing for non-sliding 2nd row seats or sofa type 3rd row seats.

But that is life. Like me, you are so much happy & satisfied with your car, have many LUVly miles to come.

retrofit projector will need complete teardown of headlight housing and opens up can of worms.

for now stick to some aux lamps and tie them to your high beams with a relay. don't keep them on independent switch or you'll run all other poor souls blind.
yes. I will stick to Aux lamp for now till maruti lunch a LUV with projector head lamp. [:D]

I will use these Aux for low beam only. It will not blind the oncommimg vehicles.

you have it reverse bro! use aux for HIGH BEAMS only. the aux should be OFF during city and low beams use. it should be also off for oncoming vehicle.

the best way is to pair them with your high beam relay via cutout.

Hi Kalinga,

Yes, I did get these seat covers from Car Cupid only. He has done an awesome job and what I was looking for. I am totally satisfied with the work and anyone who has looked upon my car afterwards, praised the quality and look I got after putting new seat covers. By the the original fabric was completely removed.

I paid around 20K for all these things which also included the Gear Boot area(still pending [frustration]) but the mechanics at the workshop were not able to open up the gear nob. Without removing the gear nob, it was not possible to insert the new covers for that area and I dont wanted them to screw up my gear nob. So I asked them to first try their hands on another Ertiga [evil] and then on mine [;)].

The most time consuming and skillful task is removing door panels and changing the door panel covers. The existing covers are all pasted and cannot be taken out. Also the place where panels are fitted, is moulded and they have to cut it open which need to done with caution otherwise it can screw the whole panel. Once it is removed it cannot be fitted again as it is so they have to fit this panel with screws and sometime they fit the screw so tight that they start appearing from the other site which looks awkward.

Car cupid is little pricy, but work is awesome....As Quality Never Comes Cheap [:)]

Yes the most tedious task is the door panel. I believe they charged extra for this task.
Glad to know that you satisfied with the work.
And why they removed the original fabric from the seat?
Because in my Getz they stitched the new cover over the original fabric.

Because in my Getz they stitched the new cover over the original fabric.
For the proper fitting they said they can stich the covers over the original and it was on me but I decided to let the original covers go as there was no use. After all the final product matters [:)]

20K is all inclusive of everything and after I looked at their efforts, it doesn't look too pricey to me. It worth 20k as I chose to go for the costliest fabric available with him.

Installed new seat covers in my LUV.

All done from Pune with my reliable accessories dealer , "CAR CUPID"
