Got a deep Scratch today by a bike on left side of bumper , check image and please suggest , how to fix it.
Based on the photo, I suggest you to try Sheeba Rubbing Compound. You can buy it from any online site. I have a white swift in family. Had very good results with the above item. Bought this after some online research. Rub it with a microfiber cloth, EXACTLY as told in the instructions on cover.
Most of the scratch (except near the mudflap, where complete paint has chipped) should disappear without affecting paint gloss.
Here is the link from where I purchased.

Note: I am recommending this only because your car color is white. Don't try it on a dark colored car. It may leave behind a permanent haze.

The cutouts are meant for the mechanism of the heated seats and the air vents for the rear passengers which are available in the more premium versions of the baleno.

Here are some pics of my baleno boosterjet. Feel free to any questions etc.

I have been reading that in India you call the baleno a premium model. The truth is that in Europe it is rather an economical model comparing to rivals such as vw polo audi a1 Renault clio seat ibiza and even some rivals from the next categories (nissan pulsar ford focus etc). The reason is mainly the poor plastics in the interior and the rather dull design and indifferent fabric of the seats etc. However it looks and is a decent and honest car with good engines and great spaces. In Europe imagine that It is very well priced significantly cheaper than a honda jazz a Renault clio and other rivals.

In India we treat it as premium as the segment in which it belongs to does not offer as such as it offers. Premiumness can not be defined only by plastic and seat cover. I wish if other European premium models upgrades their lineup as they do for other countries we would have a different story.

Hi Saxo,

Can you share some images of tail lights with FOGS on.

In Indian Baleno we have the same tail light as of Europe version but FOGS are not enabled. [roll] I mean wiring was not done for FOGS i guess.[evil]

I am planning to open the tail light and check if bulbs are present and wiring can be done to them to make them functional.

Re: Maruthi Baleno 2015 - Alpha Petrol :: White Horse - Ownership Review

For those who wants to buy the Ciaz Styrofoam housing here is the Part number. The part number is actually not available in Ciaz Parts Manual. So i did visit a Maruthi Showroom and checked the part number from the Ciaz Display Car.

Part Number - 75461M79M00 (the middle - is actually M as per Spare parts counter)
Cost - 725/-

Thanks.

Atleast it helped you.
Thought no one would need it as every Baleno Owner is living without this.

Just to inform, you need to keep the spare tyre upside down and also need Ciaz / Celerio Spare tyre tightner screw.

Thanks, Sandeep

Just now gone through the entire ownership review of your BALENO .. you have said that styrofoam stay raised thus hampering the cover of the spare tyre leaving gaps on both the side .. Did you find any solution for that .. ?

Baleno Tyre tightner screw won't work with styrofoam ?

Hi,
To fill the gaps, I have used another sheet of flat styrofoam which i got it sourced from my office Admin Team. Did cut that and paced it on the sides of the styrofoam.

And Baleno Tyre Tightner will not fit due to its length if you turn the tyre upside down. You have to buy one which comes for Ciaz/Celerio.

Hope this helps.

Hello Lakshmikanth.R

Indeed the scratch looks minor. You can try some rubbing compound on it.

For the paint chip on the extreme edge, try a correction fluid (pen type which we use to make corrections on paper) to cover it. It should make it less visible at least from a distance.

Regards,
Alpha

Crossed 16000 kms.

Touch wood no major incidents except those famous rattles.

Couldn't trace from where they are coming but at times they come and at times they dont. And hence couldn't reproduce them when in showroom.

But when they come i feel like stopping the car and rip that entire panel and see the source of the rattle.

I can't live with those rattles on a car which ia just 1.5 year old.

Also these days I feel the car noise has gone a bit high when compared to my 1st year experience. Anyone experienced the same ?

Thanks,
Sandeep

Hi sandeep,

I am at 19500km and my car has very few rattles. I have ears for rattles. Even if something kept in the car is moving, it irritates me, so was careful from the beginning.
My observation is most rattles come from the glove box. Remember, rattles evidence when things rub. So you should pack things tightly to prevent rattles. My glove box has a piece of sponge permanently stored as well.
There is one issue though- the arm rest has rubber inserts to isolate it from the centre console when closed. Mine broke off and i improvised a couple of neoprene pads with double sised tape to sit there. But this doesnt provide complete isolation and it rattles a bit.

My car does have a lot of squeakys in the back seat. Some are because the back seat is rarely used, so the vinyl hasnt settled. But also, one particular squeak is the parcel tray rubbing against the panels and the seat. My swift had black gum here. Hope maruti finds a similar solution soon.
