I just clicked only one pic there and the blueish-green KUV-1OO was also there but couldn't capture it properly. It had some body-graphics on the rear door.

In person if you ask me, its not as big looking as shown in the posters/pics. It is somewhat at par with Chevrolet Beat to a good extent. However, Personally if I compare Kwid and KUV-1OO then Mahindra has gone a notch higher in giving KUV-1OO a good styling than KWID. Interiors I did not see as I clicked the pic from a distance. Will check out next week maybe prior to launch!

Exterior looks good however how the feel would be of interiors specially the way the gear shift stick is mounted on dashboard.

Will still feel premium/luxurious to drive when I spent 7-8 lakhs on maybe top end version?

I beg to differ.Had the chance to follow a kuv 1oo for a good 40 min on the national highway. It is spacious for its segment..tall and what stunned me was it was doing 140 km/hr effortlessly.I was in the Aria. The way it accelerated made me think more likely it being a petrol. No way a small diesel could have done that repeatedly or have Mahindra pulled a rabbit with this one.At the toll booth the driver demonstrated its handling abilities too making a quick u turn with quick braking.Couldnt notice much nose dive or body roll. Hmmm I am eagerly waiting on this one.

I got a chance to follow TUV last month on Highway. He was doing what seemed 100~110.
When he saw my XUV in rear view Mirror, Quickly made way for me and gave indicator for me to pass. i overtook and soon after TUV dissapeared in RVM. Overtaking TUV was just child's play.

Even Mahindra Salesman said MAX company speed of TUV is 140 only. Which means it could feel strained past 120.

Friends,

As per a communication sent to me today, the KUV-1OO by Mahindra is going to be priced competitively on its launch. The Expected pricing is shared below.

unnamed.jpg

KUV 100 would be first of its kind in the proposed segment as Mahindra eyes to eat up the market of Hyundai i10, Maruti Swift, Ford Ecosport and other in these segments. KUV 100 Price is expected to be between 4-7 Lakh. Petrol engine model would be between 4-5.5 Lakh whereas Diesel engine model’s price is expected between 5-7 Lakh.

From the overall package, the KUV is clearly in the Kwid territory with a powerful engine and better sales back up. Clearly many probable kwid customers can shift to KUV. Looks like a santro ate steroids [:)]. Anyway, thumps up for this new kid in the market.

What I saw in the video, I loved it. It's looking stunning to me. Definitely Kwid inspired looks. I see a change in trend in Indian Market (SUV kinda) and KUV along with Kwid are going to be trend setters. Better looking than Kwid in my book. However it is not competing with Kwid so no point in comparing both.
