Our XUV has crossed 92000kms now. We bought 150000km/5 years extended warranty from Mahindra. Some dash rattles have crept up recently, which is annoying. Other than that, its all fine(touch wood). Still gives over 15 kpl on highways if you dont go over 120kph.
I think its structure help up well during the accident. Our driver drove the car from Madurai to Coimbatore after crash without assistance. I'm not very sure about Fortuner's build quality. I can vouch for XUV's though. Repaid included changing and welding of chassis part and they did a good job. Over 6 months now, I took it to 150 recently and it felt as good as it was before.
The total bill came around 4.15 lacs and we had to shell out around 1 lacs from our pocket, as there were many plastic, rubber and glass parts involved and we didnt have a zero dep policy.
