Hi, Its my XUV and i guess colour choice differs from person to person. XUV is fine except for some small niggles which i can manage but i find the ride quality pretty bad on bumpy roads and when it goes into a pothole you feel as if the vehicle is going to fall apart.

That should not be the case. What is the tire pressure that you have kept?

I have filled nitrogen at company recommended 32 psi front and 30 psi back. The fall apart is only the feeling you get when you hear the thud and whole vehicle shakes when it goes into a pothole. Nothing has come loose as of now.

Sireesh is good at delivering vehicle on time.

So how is the vehicle serviced?

Aren't the Karnataka Agencies chaps aware of Service of XUV?

Is it during your visit to Bangalore?

How long it has clocked till now?

Nope i stay in Bangalore, my hometown Bantwal.

I visit Mangalore twice or thrice a year.

Hi, Thank you. Will start one in a few days.

I have to take the XUV to Bangalore to get it serviced until the vehicle is launched in Mangalore after which i can get it serviced here. My XUV has clocked 3000 kms in 1 month[:)] so i will have to visit bangalore some time next month for the first service which should not be a problem as it can be combined with a short holiday for my son who is having summer vacation now and also a nice long drive for me as the condition of the road to Bangalore is pretty good now expect for a short stretch in the ghats.
I also got Waxoyl paint protection and cavity sealant and more importantly the under body coating done for my XUV at Karnataka agencies Mangalore. I have attached some photos of the same below.

Why don't you also talk about the ride quality issue with the service guys ? And do ask about the brake pads many w8 owners are getting it replaced .

Mahindra Conquer's Dakshin Dare 2012 with XUV

Team Mahindra Adventure took the Dakshin Dare 2012 Rally by storm, making a clean sweep at the top titles, in the 4th edition of the gruelling five-day rally that concluded in Bangalore recently.
In the process they created History as the first diesel SUV to win an extreme category in the history of Indian rallying.[clap]

Re: Why Aria Failed to Take-off But XUV Did??

XUV succeeded mainly because of the price and better management of press by M&M.
There are at least one , where engine failed in XUV, but it did not attract enough attention either in press or in various automotive forum's

The guy has given his email id and also phone number.
iam posting it for another forum
Imagine the kind of coverage it would have received if it is TATA

Mahindra xuv500. Engine. Overheated. During. Running. Engine fail. I. Purchase. Xuv 500 before two months ,car engine fail due. To overheating. Technical problem in engine. Company replace my car engine at 7500 km because of. Technical problem in engine. I have. Sufficient. Proof. For technical fault in engine.
Nobody purchase. Car. Without. It's road performance report.company advertise and report is totally professional .

Why do you think like that? I hear this everytime in this forum.

Why would everyone be partial towards Mahindra or unfair towards TATA? Both are Indian brands and infact TATA is a much bigger manufacturer. There should be some reason...
