May be if i put some more views there might be a spark on Tata Vs M&M.

it was't a test car , it was a taxi we hired to go to ranchi for my sister's PO exam, hey if you don't want tata vs mahindra in this thread why not create a new thread to discuss the topic, it will only help both auto giants in the near future[:)]

I have been driving a scorpio from 2003 till date, all of 4 variants (I have owned the non-CRDe, the CRDe, the M2di & the mHawk) & I was very happy with all the scorpios.

For that matter, I dont think any TATA car comes close to the driving pleasure offered by the scorpio, even the ARIA included. LOL, you actually feel Indica is better than scorpio? Did you consider the segments, body styles, usage & pricing? Anyways, as I said, to each is own...

Such debates wont help either companies as it would end only in biased opinions.

if you think critcism fails to spark a change than your wisdom,and as a matter of fact though I don't own any scorpio , I have taken several rides in it and yes INDICA is indeed more comfortable and pleasent ride as compared to Scorpio just even forget about Safari,irrespective of their segments and body style.
Now coming back to XUV, even though I have said TATA to Mahindra yet I would like to see Mahindra produce a world class vehicle , far away from the world of scorpios and bolero,even if you are bothered about it or not.
as far as scorpio being a better driver's car, man which world do you live in, it is not only a engine tuned for performance that makes a driver's car but it also needs better ride and handling,and how good scorpio is in this department even a 2nd std. kid knows

Dude, as said, to each his own. I find the scorpio much better than any tatas. Because of my bad experiences with tatas, even i have said tata to them, the way u said bye bye to mahindra!

First of all, understand that different people have different expectations from their vehicles. For me, its the engine response and refinement that matters because i don't expect sports car like handling from a SUV.

I don't know what a 2ND standard kid knows... u would know more about that.

AWESOME is the word. I just loved the instrument console & the Audi like red lighting!

1) Whats on the display on the centre screen?
2) Do I see AWD off button?

The meters and the center console looks good. There are so many indicators in between the meter console. Looks like a lot of features available. [clap]

wow looks great but too many lights between meters..and guys launch is on 28 but they will tell price on 29th!!
