The car is coming by Mid 2011.

the dealer where i get my car serviced, confirmed the coming of new mahindra SUV and would compete with Aria,Fortuner range and would be priced around Aria.He said he had seen the version and confirmed its a superb product from mahindra which would succeed beyond Scorpio's range.
if it has competition against fortuner and aria then it means price above 15L so out of my budget . now only option i have left with is tata new model i hope it also don't run behind fortuner

i think more like half electric and half diesel  when running at low speed on road electric but high speed and offroading diesel

Spotted this car on my way to nashik. I was in my scorpio at about 110-120 kmph & was overtaking a truck. This SUV came up real swiftly behind me & flashed his light. As soon as i overtook the truck, i moved to the left lane to give him way. Before i could ask anyone to take a pic, this guy accelerated so hard that i could not catch up. I tried accelerating to 130 kmph but the SUV disappeared into horizon within seconds & i gave up!

The only thing i could notice & can confidently comment that this SUV has got loads of power, its real fast! And the way the SUV was being driven, i would say it looked pretty stable too. After all, its a monocoque.

well honestly i'm not surprised about quickness..for suv in this range we atleast expect such high speed stability and quickness but hey share more about looks. was it camoflagued?

My friend saw the test car involved in an accident near Perungalathur here in Chennai. He said a Xylo then came with Mahindra officials and some mechanics. The mechanics worked under the car and then repaired the car and made it to start it again.

Sorry , no pictures was taken by him!
