I had a chance to see the facelift XUV500 in a place (Not to be mentioned) And all i can tell you is the SUV has a minor tweak on the rear tailgate number plate applique, redesigned dash (probably to solve the dash reflection on the windscreen) The front however does not get a major redesign as I could not see it clearly due to heavy camouflage.
All this pain I took is for my soon to be delivered W8. I was confused whether to wait for the facelift or not. the facelift will hit roads only after the second half of this year .

Thankyou verymuch. Now i am relieved. I just got my W6 xuv500. I just got back from a drive of 400km. With your review of the facelift and given the time of it to launch, I think it was right decision on my part to go for current gen xuv500.

As far as I researched , the new xuv500 face-lift 2015 might come with different day lights in front headlights similar to that of new Scorpio or Audi style, also little tuning of engine to be more efficient and new alloy wheels design,refreshment of interiors in quality of buttons and plastic, changes in the suspension, today's date is Feb 5th 2015. I'm eager to buy xuv 500 but I don't know I can wait for new facelift or not, arrgh! Its killing me..Mahindra!! gives us official launch dates at least. If they launch this year end , then it's a waste to wait. If I buy current one now and if they launch in comings weeks , then I'll be a very pissed !! Some of you guys might have the same feels right ??!!

Also it has new updated door handles as you can clearly see in the image attached !!
Also it might have hood on the bonnet !

I know this feeling mate!! I was in same dilemma to wait for it or to go for it. Ultimately could not wait more and as current gen xuv are quite niggle free and yes it is, I got my XUV500

Trust me you will not regret. The day you get your hands on it, think you have made the right choice and every penny is worth you are investing in it.
Till now no solid news from tech mahindra or no scoops other than possibility and speculations. So just go for it, but do check VIN before you book. If its jan2015 and above you got yourself a good deal!!

What change I can see here, Fog lamps now upwards in Bumper, Headlights are changed, Orange Side blinkers are now clear lens, Grill is flat with mustache chrome on it,

What change I can see here, Fog lamps now upwards in Bumper, Headlights are changed, Orange Side blinkers are now clear lens, Grill is flat with mustache chrome on it,

I can see keyless entry button on the driver's door and also revised DRLs (similar to the one in the new Scorpio)!

I observed following changes
1. Front Grill sits lower than outgoing model
2. Head lamp looks sharper and may be new DLR
3. Newly Design Alloy
4. Restyled Front Bumper

A member of another forums found the new XUV headlight,
its Blackened with new LED/DLR's tube. Though looks good to me.

yeah the new head light definitely looks killer, just like the new gen scorpio headlights. Mahindra is definitely running in the right path. KUDOS to them!!

The new headlight looks great for this price tag and looks stylish. Happy that M&M are improving an already near perfect car. Anyways i dont care , i now have a BMW
