Also its possible they may have carried out an a/c neutralization or may be they cleaned the engine compartment as well.

I found this number for Mahindra Customer Care : 022 28468525/1800 22 6006 and found a couple of people who logged their complaints, the issue was fixed to their satisfaction.

New ICE setup!

The OEM Mahindra head unit lacked some features and the output was not that great. So decided to change both the head unit and the rear speakers.

Dealer name & address :

Throttle : 6th block, Jayanagar.

Head Unit :

Pioneer FH-P6050UB

Checked Alpine, Pioneer, JVC and Sony, but this one caught my attention. It does the basic, supports MP3, USB, iPod but its Double-Din design looked neat.

Cost :

Rs.9700/-

Got the Mahindra's head unit exchanged for 2500. So, paid Rs.7200.

Thanks Marun! Those seats came with the car and havent changed them or put any covers. I like its design too

With bill. The head unit came with a 2 year warranty and the Speakers 1 year. I would never take any electronic accessory without a bill or warranty. You'll never know when they might give way, so atleast the initial few months, you're safe

Even i had liked the black interiors especially the Red ODO.
Initially had booked Java Brown, But in the long run i need to make it look new.
So went for Mist Silver.
Why i changed was hoping that vehicle will be more hot in summer.
But the black interiors are easy to maintain.

Good ICE setup, Even i will have to change it after seeing yours.

And how come those AC Vents are different from mine.

Thanks Cooldhaya. The front speakers came with the car, which should be Mahindra's. I opted to go for a better rear speaker than changing all 4 of them, so dint bother removing the panels and checking.

Are you sure Raj, All the refreshed versions have same like mine.
I had purchased on Nov-08
Vehicle was manufactured in Aug-08.

Black interiors are Avindu's not mine.

Yeah, I thought so. The design was changed at some stage in 2008.. looks neat

Btw.. I forgot to mention that the Volume controls on the steering wheel no longer work. This is one dis-advantage.

Oops, i am so sorry. Even i have got the new AC vents.

I saw post # 68 & thought the pic is of Avindu's scorpio, now i realized its mukesh's!

@ Avindu: you can easily get the AC vents swapped with the new ones at the ASC, wont cost you much.

And even my car's steering controls dont work... I do miss it.
