so 1. New Generation Scorpio,
2. New Age XUV5OO,
3. All New Mahindra Thar,
4. TUV3OO,
5. Mahindra Mojo (it's a bike from M&M stable so....)
6. May be S101/KUV1OO/XUV1OO,
7. New Quanto,
8. New Ssangyong Rexton is launched in other countries, Maybe this will fill this space
9. ??? New Bolero???? No news available at all

Why mHAWK decal is not available for New Gen Scorpio?
Also Appliqué on backside of SCORPIO is now removed by Mahindra. But if somebody wants that black appliqué then is it available on demand?

Buddies,

My elder cousin got his New-Gen Scorpio recently. It was the 1st time he came to meet us today in his new SUV. In White, this looks pretty decent and does not have full Black Applique on the rear.

Having mixed reaction for Scorpio without that Back Black appliqué. Adding screenshot from other ownership threads from our forum.
Scorpio looks good without that Back Black Appliqué but still mahindra should make it optional to take Black applique or body colour one.

@Akash, the car looks excellent!. Seems to be an S10 version. I would recommend that he remove those bull-bars up front though. While they may look all-macho, they will completely interfere in the functioning of the sensors that activate the airbags in the unfortunate event of a frontal collision.

It is the top model buddy. And yes, I never believe in placing bull guards and I never suggest it to anyone. When he came, I foremost did mention this thing to him. I believe he'll remove them surely.

Bull guard is safety issue for any vehicle's. But still it's a standard accessory for most of the car manufacturer. They provide Airbag to save persons life from collision & also provide bull Guard to mess up with airbag sensor. [anger]

Buddy that is because we as customers mainly go for bling/chrome. Chrome on car equals to premium factor for many buyers but they do forget that apart from the macho look these bull guards pose more problems than providing any type of safety. If you closely look in pic posted by me, you'll see the rear left corner rubber of bull guard broken. So, apart from the damage, I somehow don't like these guards. Also note, in a minor hit, these guards do more damage to a bumper.

I Don't blame customers for this as everybody wants his vehicle to look good among public. Seen people do weird Mod job on their vehicle. Also bull guards are useful in case for front collision as they save big bumper damages and they give muscular look to vehicle, even hatchback like swift look awesome in bull guards.

It's government who never check this issues, put some law on this.

Maybe yes, but everyone has a personal view on accessorizing the car buddy and I feel, in today's time more than bling factor in terms of accessories, people should know its necessity and flaws as well. These guards are sure shot hindrance to the bumper as they dislocate the bumper on impact.

I don't think its possible in near future because, the decision to use such accessories depends on the owner. Neither the dealer nor anyone pushes for such things. Even if dealer does, we may reject it. For every small thing there should not be a law. There are certain decisions which an owner can make simply by his/her fine sense of judgement and knowledge.[:)]

While surfing internet, found New Generation Scorpio kind of alloy wheels design. Alloys wheels of Nissan 360Z reassembles design of New Generation Scorpio Alloys. Maybe Mahindra took alloy wheels design inspiration from Nissan 360Z alloy wheels.
To me they look similar. Attaching side by side photo for Nissan 360Z vs Mahindra New Generation Scorpio alloys. Glad to see Mahindra Designers took design inspiration from a sports car. [;)]

Re: Driving Experience: Engine and Performance

Dear members,

I'm new to this forum. I'm a recent owner of Scorpio (purchased two weeks ago). The test drive vehicle appeared to be smoother than the one I took delivery of. To be specific, in low RPMs (900 to 1200), in gears 1, 2 & 3; I have a feeling that my vehicle has more vibrations than the test drive vehicle. The test drive vehicle had run around 14,000 kms, whereas my vehicle is just out of the yard with 100 kms.

Over time, will my vehicle too get smoother with lesser vibrations? Approximately, how long (or how many kms) will it take? Is this something that is common for all diesel vehicles? Please clarify. Thanks!

The only reason I can see is your vehicle is extremely new and hence feels rougher since it is still bedding in. Give it some time (till the first service/oil change) and nurse it till it reaches 5000kms and you should be fine. Also, drive another brand new vehicle and compare results.
