Still speculative but some news trickling in from the Nasik plant is that the mini Xylo may be launched before the end of the year and also doubtfully speculative is that the mini would be launched in a lot of variants, including optional engine variants. 1.5 L, 2.2 L and 2.6L. To my novice mind that seems so improbable. But lets see.

I saw the mini Xylo on the Mumbai Pune Expressway last weekend. It was covered with black cloth as seen in earlier pictures. The driver was clever enough to drive into the Toll plaza in Trucks lane & then drove away fast. I could manage a photo & a video. Will post it soon.

Knightrider, thanks for the scoop pics, rep points added. I completely agree with Vishwas about the ugly side profile. I just hope M&M designers have put in some creativity for the rear design.

Thanks Akash. I was never a fan of the this car & not much keen on its launch. It really can't be termed as a mini SUV. It doesn't have the basic characteristics of a SUV. Look at the Rio. It has amazing looks & stance. If it wasn't from the Premier stable, it would have sold much more.

Thanks for the scoop Knightrider! It has a spare wheel on rear. Let's hope it will somewhat help to improve the looks than just being an overgrown tall boy hatchback.
