My recent chat with cotech confirmed that the W201 will be delivered to showrooms by September end.

As of now Mini Xylo(5 Seater) will be launched within this month.

Summary of features in Mini Xylo looks like -

-Some variants could be equipped with a start button
-5+2 seater. Jump seats fitted to the rear are strictly for children in the family.
-A 3 pot engine producing 70hp and 160Nm of torque will be strapped to the vehicle
-There will be no roof-mounted AC like on the normal Xylo
-The compact Xylo stands on 205/65/R15 tires
-Seat backs will have aircraft style trays on select variants
-Spare tire will be mounted on the rear door
-The tiny quarter glass behind the jump seat will make it look like a grown up WagonR

if the vehicle looks rugged, i hope so & with good offroading capabilities & below five lakhs. then it would be an instant hit. am i too optimistic

Great to see some new pics. I've been waiting for the mini for a long time now. I was hoping someone would come out with the dates soon. The last couple of times the spy pics have been seen are of the car parked in some garage and the person clicking has had the luck to see under the hood too. Would the gentleman pls also try and find out the date of launch.

I'm not sure I'd like to hold my breath on that. There's some more unconfirmed news that the car would be launched in December.
Too bad M&M haven't taken the opportunity to launch it before the festive season and to get the max number of bookings for this year.

The Mini Xylo would not be out before March 2012. Info source is some insider information from the Nasik plant. The car looks good, has been giving a consistent mileage of over 18 KMPL, but the wait would have to be till March Next year and that too is speculative depending on the sales of the XUV 500.

March will be a bit too late. Maybe we can expect to see the Mini-Xylo at Auto Expo. Who knows?
