how about the braking ? are they locking up when braking suddenly. it was a problem with many a users of bolero in the past. has it been rectified ? many of the government vehicles in kerala are boleros . its their ruggedness and cheap to maintain qualities that are making them a favorite as govt. vehicles.

Brakes seem to be good, in fact I had one narrow escape the other day when a sedan in front of me suddenly slowed down in a high speed lane, thanks to the good brakes. Did you face any issues with your storm brakes?

Finally the seat covers! Its either Art/PU leather one of those things did not have the time & energy to research too much. Needed to get it done asap. Cost 8K for all 7 seats & 4 neck pillows - steering grip he said its difficult due to the wide center spoke!

Ran into this tiny shop while driving on the outskirts in south bangalore & seemed to be good & thought of trying them out & they seem to have done a good job in the end. Hard working young chaps. Mobile number: 8951206572. In case someone in Bangalore wishes to try them out.

@IndicaDLS2002 - Hope your Bolero is doing well :-) How many kms have you put on the odometer ? Have you done any long trips ? Have you done your first or second scheduled servicing ? If yes, how was the experience at the M.A.S.S ?. Thanks !!

Current mileage ~5000 kms
Just travelled 1200kms from B'lore.
Currently on the road somewhere along NH3 Mumbai-Agra road.
Not many problems as yet, hoping it stays that way!
Mileage between 16-20 kms/litre.
First service yet to be done.
MASS has been quite helpful & cooperative till now.
More when I get back.

Here's a breakfast tip - On NH3, 100 Kms south of Indore, as you take the exit to Maheshwar (3 kms from NH3), you will see "Hotel Highway" opp a petrol pump. Heavenly Poha, Samosa, Kachori and Jalebi. Highly recommended for a wholesome and tasty breakfast/snack break!!

Can you tell us what was the time taken for 0-140 on express highway. I seen new boleros also touching 130 + on these highways.
