@IndicaDLS2002 - Great review. I love your Bolero photos. This truck will give you many many years of trouble free service. Are you planning any long drives ?

IndicaDLS2002, congrats for acquiring the mighty Bolero. This is the vehicle my heart leans towards. Your Bolero looks great in brown. Please keep updating the thread. How do you and passengers feel about the second row seat comfort, specifically during long journeys.

Pictures below from a short trip to Ooty, best part was the highway passes through Bandipur National park with wildlife just few metres away without any fencing etc. Saw several herds of wild elephants with their tusks on right next to the highway & cars stopped by taking photos.

Roads are not that great to be honest, virtually non-existant in several parts of the Nilgiris but nothing a Bolero cannot handle. Almost like offroading to visit some places!

Second row seat comfort is fine however legspace is quite limited to be frank so long journeys there maybe need to stretch out during breaks and also rotate the seats.

yeah missed that info[;)] OK on the way to Ooty after Mysore I checked the mileage by tank to tank method it gave me an average mileage of 15kms/per litre (after 600kms of driving both city & highway mixed) which I think is quite good. Probably better than my Indica as well. On the new dashboard it shows lowest 7.5kms per litre during driving uphill. upto 26kms during driving downhill & about 18-20kms highways & city between 11 to 15kms per litre.

You were somewhat apprehensive to start a ownership report , see now how exciting this report has turn out .
Beside that , the report itself will come as a " memory lane " of your car you have the events penned down from the day you bought till now .

Wonderful pics , and the bolero looks mean and butch .

@IndicaDLS

Congrats for your new UV buddy !! I am bit late here

As a user of Bolero camper for some time, I feel Bolero camper had more space in the first row than the second and in your UV I see it is reverse, please comment on this.

The third row looks to be very impractical something like Safari Storme.

Some how the door design and the windows size looks bit dated to me and at times claustrophobic.

A dashboard pic is still missing buddy

In the end YES it is the tough and rugged SUV with some beautiful low end torque which is very handy in cities. Is there any reason that TN police use all Boleros[thinking]

Thank you Gurrala sir.

Here are the dashboard photos, resolution is not that great & frankly you can get a much better idea from the bolero website/specifications/brochure..

As far as I know a lot of departments in many states at least I know TN/KA/MH use Bolero as official vehicles like police/forest/Electricity, reason in my opinion is the large number of utility options/variants available, I can think of at least about 10 including camper & pickup.

BTW Raja I like it how you are always motivating/encouraging me & many others.[;)]Happy to contribute if it helps someone make the right decision for their next buy. Its a good vehicle for someone who has the need to upgrade & might have just hit 40+! (you know what I mean)[:)]
