I personally like the dark blue Sunny. Wish they had the Micra in that color. Micra's blue is of lighter shade. On a different note, I've been seeing a lot of Sunnys (not necessarily CVTs) in Bangalore. I guess it's picking up.

Rafian-It's a Diesel one and done 24600 Km as of today.Bought as a used Car from individual as a replacement for Swift Diesel.Before purchase,it had done 12900 Km.Its almost 12K Km of running.

Finally we took the delivery of Sunny CVT gray color yesterday and today we finalised lot of accessories worth of 1L which includes alloys, blaupunkt DVD, rear camera, sensors, crome styling and others. I did not get time to take some pics but will take them once the accessories are being fitted today and post them here. There's so much talk about the rubber band effect. You must post an ownership report after driving couple thousand kms and let us know how many times the CVT let you down due to the rubber band effect. It would be interesting to know how bad is it in reality.

I am just thinking whether this purchase qualify the ownership review as it is being used by one of my senior colleague.
The car is fitted with all accessories yesterday and was waiting for the same to take pics. Will post them very soon.

Yesterday when we got the new alloys, my friend left the new rims with the accessories guy thinking there is no use with them. But some how I felt that we can sell them to some body or keep it with us for any kind of back up in future as accessories guy is not paying any amount for them. friends please comment on this

No rafian, my colleague has left them with the show room guy as I was not there while getting the car back after fitment of accessories. I told him today to get them back either we sell or donate or keep them with us.

@vicky, thank you it is for our one of the senior colleague so I will post the pics, but I do not have day to day access of the car as I am not going to use it, but I am trying to change the title of this thread it self and will update the same whenever I get an update of the car.

Rubber band effect is: when you floor the gas pedal the engine rpm hits 5K+ and the car gains speed at a rate that is managed by the CVT. Basically it's the effect of the transmission being belt driven as opposed to driven by a set of pre-defined gears.
If you do a google on this you'll learn much more than what I could pen on this topic.
