-> How serious is K&N filter on i10's performance. I havent seen much people who use K&N air filter on i10 and this is the reason I raise this question to an expert like you. More over if possible can you please highlight the power & mileage gain in case of K&N on an i10?

K&n helps to breath easy , induce good charge to engine. and runs for about a million kms , practically for life time.
Which car do you own ? Power gain with performance filters is say around 5 - 6 hp (un noticeable) that too with proper length,diameter Pipes.Even the position matters.
^He has an i10 Kappa.
By using the k&n you get a extra 4 to 6 bhp extra. that is at high rpm. say 5500 rpm .

not enriched kinda , its cleaner like , so good combustion takes place.

K&N is worth for car , cross worth brand has also good performance.

5-6 bhp??
Toooooooo much IMO. an i10 barely makes 80bhp. a k&n WILL NOT give u any substantial gains in power or performance.use that 6k on other things if u really need power.

^ I dint knew he was planning to install the filter on a i10.
But on other engines say Honda wont a proper Performance filter or CAI make 4-5 bhp difference ?

Green Cotton Wind
I use Green Cotton Wind cold air intake in my swift VDi. I only noticed one big improvement, NO turbo lag at 2k rpm. The car runs smooth now & all the jerks in the shifts have disappeared.
