Hi furious driver, I had some problems with steering alignment but it is rectified during first service. Car handles big potholes very nicely and quietly.

Yes, you are right the hyundai floor mat given by dealer does not cover the area behind the rear AC. When they have given me i20 floor mat for using till the xcent floor mat does not come, it have three pieces which covers rear floor, I don't know why they didn't give three pieces for xcent also. After sometime I will opt 3D floor mats like the ones motorlover have.

Hi motorlover, you are right floor mats provided by hyundai is not worth. 3D floor mats are far better than that

Hi anshuman, I am getting 12-13 kmpl in city driving and 14 kmpl in Highway driving.

I Received a 17 digit VIN. Not able to decode the month of manufacture. When asked about 19 digit number, SA says the 17 digit is the Chasis number that they received. Expectin the car by month end. Present owner can tell us if they had received 17 or 19 digit numbers before delivery.

^^ Exactly. But my car already is in transit and will reach within 2 days and will probably take delivery this saturday or next monday.

The VIN etched on the car will have just 17 characters.

Check your tax invoice. It will have the VIN with 19 Characters (under chassis number).

The last two characters will be a * followed by a alphabet. Mine was *E - which means May.

cnus8n is correct. They don't tell the entire number. I went yesterday to their stock yard to have a look and found that there are two more characters a " * " and then " F " which represents "June"

Did the pooja in temple on saturday and gave it back to dealer to get temp registration done. Will take the car by this wednesday. Drove the car for around 30 kms(odo was just 3kms when i started the car) and car felt nice. Waiting to get my hands on

Booked seatcovers for my white Xcent this wednesday. Genuine Autoform- U smart line for Rs. 7,000
Decided to go for grey and black color combination according to interior. They will be ready and installed in my Xcent within a week.

Will update with pics ASAP.

Hi sunnygupta, please post pics of the seat covers once they are installed, you have goen for bucket fit type seat covers or normal fit seat cover. Also, can you share the contact details and the shop name as I am also looking for seat covers for my xcent.

If you want good leather seat covers at reasonable price i have a shop for you. Believe me at this price you cannot get such quality.

Take a look at my verna's seat cover. I paid 4k for them. None of my friends believed i paid just 4k for this.

Check reply number 1260 , page 84 of my thread for better look at the seat covers (i'm on my ph so can't post the link)
