Yeah; because they are new.

BTW my new headlights are not alligned.[frustration]

i aligned mine this eveing some increase in visibilty. Ill post a few pics whenever i get time to do so. Stupid college has me in as if im a resident doctor!

Can Anyone suggest me a good engine oil that I can use In my CRDi Verna ??
I found the oil given By A.S.S giving less milegae on the run
Now the Mileage of My Verna dropped to 14 Kmpl in Highway with 100% Ac
and I have clocked 18,000 Km so far

14kmpl is really low on highway. Dust the air filter and check the engine oil level. I'm sorry i don't have any knowledge of engine oils so can't suggest you anything.

Also get the spark plugs checked.

vishak if yours is a diesel then mobil delvac1 synthetic if petrol then a good 5w30 oil or if your fine with spending more then 5w30 sysnthetic or mobil1 0w40 synthetic.

I am Considering Mineral Oil Because i Dont want to alter the Service intervals

mobil delvac mx is a great oil. Btw you can still change the oil at the usual 10k marker. The service guys gave me an interval of 15k but i still change at 10k.

I own a Verna 1.6 Petrol. My query is i drive in mumbai and that too in non highway roads most of the time. The fuel efficiency i get is around 7 to 7.5 kms. Is this normal or do i need to get the car checked out ??

Another query is when i start my car after being idle for 3-5 days than the car moves forward after a hump and loud sound from back .. the car picks up as if released from a hand brake suddenly after accelerating. Doesn't happen when car is used continuously without a day gap.

Appreciate your answers.

1. i too get a mileage of just 7-8 in city. the max i got was 10 kmpl. and most of the owners are getting similar mileage but for your peace of mind you can go and get the car checked. BTW how many kilometers have you covered ?

2. that sound is again normal. not just in verna but in many cars [:)]

i drive in mumbai i get 9.5-10.5 on regular new bombay to bandra driving. Highways max 13. km on my odo 17400km. Fuel used speed petrol. synthetic engine oil.

Thanks for the reply. I have covered around 1200 kms and been 5-6 six months since purchase.

Done the Third Free Service [clap]
Changed Every thing as per the mainteance schedule
Now there's Considerable change in Engine clatter Now i suspect the oil used last time for the Low fe [surprise]
Will do a tank full and keep you guys updated
