one of those vernas will be mine but sold privately. If their offering 4-5 lacs id chuck plans of selling it of and open my themed amusement ride "ROLLER COASTERUIDIC" charge 100 bucks per seat and take the car at 100 over a severely potholed road. If they say thats not fast ill prove them by showing the fe[:D]. And then ill preserve that car in my garage as a vintage and show my kids and grandkids "Here lies the car that fooled thou grandpa"

my brakes are making noises now for the first 5 km those grinding noises i wasn't getting them before they cleant and sanded the pads, i visually checked the pads their mine as they have the same thickness. While the ac is making hissing noises for a few seconds on compressor startup. its like the gas in the evaporator is over and just getting filled in.

bazooka do you idle after start up? or just drive away? cause if you do idle it will drink petrol to warm up faster. Lets try those cable ties on the fuel hose to limit the fuel supply and see the fe[;)] (sarcasm)

audi and bmw have higher cc engines with 6 cylinders and or turbo charged so for them their fe seems proper. Hyundai is a 1.6 at least hyundai could've claimed their figures right? if they had to put 8-9 city i don't think anyone of us would have got so worked up on the mileage we receive then.
the vernas engine cannot support ethanol at all online honda city where it can tolerate 10%

7.6 [surprise] that's what should i say. and i agree with nick this is a plain 1.6 and still drinking like beemers [anger]

guys owning beemer doesn't mind the fe but we do. at this rate we'd spend half the car's price in 2-3 years [anger]

Thts the problem its a plain 1.6 pot, infact this car cannot handle a city FE. Was reading Car India long term ownership of the SX(O) VTVT and the have pegged the city average at 9.2 kmpl. The only way is to get high octane fuel and then run on syth!

many diesel owners are reporting the same [sad] what have hyundai done. messed up the fe. now they can't say its your driving style [anger] [frustration]

done some 340 kms on trip meter and range shows some 60 kms. so 380 kms for 35 or 43 liters i don't know.

i think the reserve is for 7 liters and not just 2. can't be 2. that's why only 35 liters went in after 1 petrol bar remained. will continue to drive till the bar blinks.

I am getting 10.6L for my 850kms old verna crdi, is it a fair deal..??
well i am not in a mood to sell it off, but still..!!
On Road delhi is 11.20L plus 60k black for early delivery, so total is 11.80L...i dint had to pay that black, so for me it was 11.2 only..
