hi vivek the sub woofers sankar plans to use are 300w rms @ 4 ohms

you are suggesting him to buy an amplifier which is 1000w rms @ 1 ohm only

and does not support 4 ohms or 2 ohms

I have already suggested him CM600 which is stable at 2 ohm and can power both the subs. Its he who was comparing CM1000 with kappa 1, thus was just clearing the confusion b/w both.

So the comparing should be done between Focal Solid 1/ Infinity Kappa 1/ DD Audio CM600 right? Ciuld you please post price of the three amps mentioned here?

I can only tell you about DD CM600 and it would cost you close to 17 grand. as MRP is some 19 grand. For better idea you know whom to call.

Why are you so into DD Audio products? Any particular reason for favouring did audio products?

I don't favour them, i praise them though they are not my kind but good product will always be good, whether i like it or not. DDs have some great subs i have heard myself, they are under rated products and give much more than what is specified.
