bensam which synthetic oil they will be using and do post the bill so we get an idea of the maintenance costs

my best 0-100 - (verna fluidic crdi 1.6L)

at 4 sec i pressed gas and at 15 sec i reached 100 (in 3rd gear) - almost 11 seconds.

thanks bensam im thinking of putting mobil 1 / quaker state 5w20 oil during my second service theres lots of time though but i will give them the oil and supervize it

Mobil1 is really awesome. Got my baby back from 2nd service. They had changed the Oil (Mobil1) and oil filter. Totally they (KUN Hyundai) had charged 1700/-. Now my machine is smooth as silk and Can't justify whether its Diesel engine. Completely silent

Yes, I asked them to show me the mobil1 to verify. They shown me and I thought they will charge me above 2500+ but surprisingly they had charged 1700/-.

Edit: They are charging only for how much oil quantity is used and not for the full oil they purchase.

what did the bottle read bensam can you please post the reciept this is kind of hard to believe i went asking for oils for my car a few dealers say go by the manuals recommended grade for which mine says 5w20/5w30 covers the full temperature range where as some other forums i read are pushing the thicker 5w50 saying its superior. the dealer said using thick oils will make engine slugish as well as hammer my economy but can be used. 5w20 and 5w30 are energy conserving since its approved use it
he said he would get back to me after checking with distributors. he says ford and maruti sx4 and ritz take 5w30

diesel takes in 5.5 litres of oil, mineral oil costs around 200-400 a litre so say they put mineral in that makes it around 1650rs then oil filter air filter and diesel filter on the house(Joking)
so you are a proud customer of hyundai must say.
have yuo checked with them on the suspensions, mine are getting squeakier
if im right fully synthetic costs between 800-1200rs a qt.(946 mils) semi synth is cheaper
mobil has 2 amazing oils for diesels synthetic being mobil delvac and mineral being mobil delvac mx. the other ranges are compatible with diesel but have less specifications

was quoted between 3200-3800 for 4l of mobil1 the grade i want will be more

oops missed to see that nick but I saw its Mobil 1 and for diesel 5.3 lt they mentioned in the bill. They changed only oil and oil filter.

1.7k is really cheap... maybe just because they have counted for how much amount of oil has been put.

im really shocked to the core. that means i will just pay them 300 bucks man this is to good. i love hyundai.
my chevy takes 3.6 litres oil mineral oil from elf and always comes back with a bill of 2k including filters and some random 3m engine rejuvination or wheel alignment and balancing
the chevy guys always fill the engine over the full mark. and return an empty can back

now i have planned my second service if i go to usa before the service will get the oils from there if not ill get it a week before the appointment will force for a morning one. drive in make job card hop into the 5star side of it for a buffet breakfast. go back with the oil can and in 2 hours im back home and this will be the first time i wont be using my credit card at the service centre. wow. letme clock kms faster now

thats the thing I'm trying to say. They billed for how much quantity they put

My previous petrol car was billed 2500/- for 2nd service. So now I'm more happy with Hyundai.

@nick: Regarding the suspension, I complained that but they don't have a real solution for that. Only Hyundai has to provide alternative solution otherwise no luck i hope!

hey i drive more then 800 kms in verna , neaver face any suspention issue will you guys please elaborate this suspension issue so i can understand it more practically .
