Hmm seems to be an good enough alternative. But I cant figure out how they are held in the position.[Risk of cracking/popping out on high pressure?] Give a call to that guy and see what he says about the whole thing. [He won't mind calling him i suppose.][;)]

Re: Hyundai Fluidic Verna VTVT SX (O) 2 Years and 30,000 Kms

hi guys, got car serviced at 55000kms.
getting around 18kmpl in highways.
clutch needs to be changed. was told that it may cost 15k.

thankfully recovered from a fatal crash 6 months ago. was driving alone at 130kmph in rain . (my stupidity).front right wheel went over a water pool collected on road and thats it. lost steering feedback and drifted for about 100meters before banging a road divider.luckily walked out of the car unscratched. no one hurt.
took 2 months to get cut chasiss, fuel injectors, doors, ac system -basically front half of car to get changed.
cost me a bomb to get my verna back.

Hey ashok can you list out the problems you encountered?
Sorry nick, was down in hospital due to an accident, an arrogant two wheeler, mowed me down just a week after I posted. I had to undergo surgery for ligament tear, just completed my PHYSIO training and able to walk , however I have been asked to refrain from driving for 3 more months,

Guys be aware, the turbo is a huge problem in crdi, mine failed at 80+, the total bill worked to
Nearly a lac with other minor replacements like clutch, brake pads and lubricants.

Imo another average sedan which struggles to keep its owners wallet ok until 100k under hood

Re: Hyundai Fluidic Verna VTVT SX (O) 2 Years and 30,000 Kms

Hey guys wanted some suggestion. My car completing 4 years in September and covered 39000 Kms till date. Mine is Crdi. I am not at all happy with bouncy ride of car. Red rooster performance is having complete suspension set up costing 90K. I think installation charges will be extra so total cost goes upto 100K. Should I go for it? I am also waiting for Hyundai Creta and Maruti S-cross. If these car are not good handlers then I will keep verna for two more years. In that case is it advisable to invest Rs. 100K.

Even if you sell after 2 years , 100k investement won't be worth it. And infact it may reduce the resell value as well. You know that it's a good setup but other people don't.

Take this number 9821047448 name is darryl.

Call this and tell him about the problem. He will tell you the options , get the buffers and install them.

4 buffers will cost 4k. It's better to spend 4k than 100k.

Thanks Bro. I have already installed the coil spring adjusters from Darryl. It helps but does not improve ride quality. After installing it car bottoming out problem is solved but it does not significantly improve ride quality. Now my rear coil adjusters are broken and thinking to replace it by new one.
Thanks for your kind advice.

@sandy_fluidic, Thats strange. My experience has been quite different with coil spring assisters. They very much improved ride quality and excessive bounciness was greatly reduced. but, under full load conditions there is no difference felt. Thats pretty much my experience with assisters. And I'd suggest you against getting coil spring assisters in front springs as it will not make any difference and will cause so much tyre wear that you'll need new tyres in less than 4K kms.
I have had assisters in rear springs for almost 10k kms and they're holding up pretty good. No damage or anything.
What size assister have you installed ? 1.5'' or 2''?

Congratulations Nick.. [clap]
Any suggestions on the upgrade from the stock B250 R16s?
I remember you mentioning about 205/55R16 somewhere. Do you still recommend them?
Will downgrading to R15 Alloys improve the ride quality?

Hi,

You whole driving pleasure will be changed . B250 gave me too many cuts and punctures so switched them to Michelin 205/55R16 .. Your riding quality and car stability will be highly increased. I own a tyre store myself and I would strictly recommend you not to downgrade to R15.

I have the same problem. Most of the time there is a thud sound from the front tyre/suspension on bumps/potholes regardless of speed.

The rear suspension is stiffer for the newer fluidic verna (car was solid at 170kmph).

Google Rogerab.

It will increase your car height, stability, performance on roads with bumps and jerks will be super. I have installed them in my verna and iI recommend it as a must

Use rogerab for verna, I have installed it and it gives awesome performance

google rogerab for cars it will cost around 8k for four suspensions
