Re: Hyundai Fluidic Verna Road Test Review

I had a short drive in the Fluidic, and it was pretty good.
As already posted by many people,i would like to post my opinion as an addition to their opinion.

Likes=

1)Steering wheel(like Honda).
2)central console and the dash board
3)Reverse Camera and sensors
4)rear bumper with reflectors

Dislikes=

1)front end looks similar to new i10
2)Turning radius is slightly more than the initial model(myself and Dhaya has).
3)taillights have similar reverse and indicator segment like my Verna, but, tilted position.
4)Fog lamps.(new design,but,not powerful)
5)Ground Clearance. With 2 people(myself and sales advisor),the under surface of the car got in contact with a slight ridge of about 5 inches next to the showroom. We heard a huge scratchy noise. He said that it is usually heard because of some bla bla in the road, but,i have reversed my verna with kits from th same turning without any contact with the car.
6)Smoke emission slightly from the car.
7)Short rear windscreen/wind shield.
8)Alloy wheels could have been better.(they look like old Getz's wheel caps)

Re: Hyundai Fluidic Verna Road Test Review

I have a new Hyundai Verna Fluidic SX(O) CRDi stone beige colour. Its an amazing vehicle and I am a satisfied customer in terms of features, safety, looks, ride quality, and overall value for money. KUDOS to Hyundai :)

One query I had, if anyone could help me out with please.

I wanted to replace the existing horn in my Verna with a horn of a VW Passat (somehow which I have managed to lay my hands on).
Will it be compatible ?? What are the specifications we have to see for the compatibility of a horn in a car ??

P.S. I can also replace it with the horn of a VW POLO, VW JETTA or a VW PASSAT (my pal works in a local dealership and can give me a sealed piece of a spare horn).

Which one is recommended to be fitted ??
Hope I need not fit a relay (most probably the VW horn would be having an inbuilt relay) and will not damage the electricals of the car. And yeah, personally, which horn do you think sounds the best from the VW stable ??
thanks

Re: Hyundai Fluidic Verna Road Test Review

Hey thanks 350Z !! Thanks a lot :)
Yeah, I am quite, rather must say totally satisfied with the car I have bought and must say I made the right decision by going in for this car which comes in the C-segment and I think this model has given/will give tough competition to other cars in this segment.
And yeah, I need help from you guys(you and other members) of the forum to help me out with some of the doubts I have about the car/modifications I want to make in the car and it will really be great if you guys help me out and we share our thoughts !!! :)
Thanks again and cheers ! [:)]

The Accent hatch back. Looks a bit like I30 from rear.
Must admit, Hatchback has a lot better rear-end design. Sedan looks rather dull from rear, unlike its front.

@Verna:Congrats on your new Verna.
Wish you miles of Safe and Happy Motoring.[:)]
How about a wee introduction of yourselves?

And regarding the horns, i don't think relay is required.
As relay(cut out) is required only for Upgradation of Stock lamps.
And you can easily get some Bosch horns or Roots horn.
