Re: Hyundai Fluidic Verna Road Test Review

I have done tankful just after taking delivery, only one bar disappeared from the fuel indicator after around 180-190 km
I think verna is consuming more sweets than fuel, more than 5 kg pedhas [:D] on Saturday and Sunday !!!
who ever taken ride of my beauty was talking about the power of Verna and not believing that this is a diesel car [glasses]

sandy, the stiffness will be there when the car is new, did you not feel the same that the stiffness diminished after a while and now it feels like the suspensions are 2-3 years old severely abused?
for now i am driving my car into lots of potholed roads, if the suspension fails good ill get new ones. if not then hope they provide upgrades.

i think dadasaheb is busy making love to his new car [:D]

Re: Hyundai Fluidic Verna Road Test Review

saw an olx ad banner here casually clicked it and went into used car section found around 22 new fluidic vernas up for sale.
2011 verna
Oh! thats very scary. So much people opting to sell the car which has not made 1 year only. But cant predict what made them to come to this conclusion of selling the car. Apart from suspension issue i have not noticed any problem with the car. Thats may be because i am not a racer.

You are right nick i too fill suspension were stiff for first 1 or 2 odd months and after that they started making thud thud noise. But by now i am used to it.

Re: Hyundai Fluidic Verna Road Test Review

have interacted with 2-3 guys who sold of. 2 of them sold it cause of the suspension from which one went to check for aftermarket suspension and was quoted 75k for the upgrade, he took the verna purely for the engine performance and thought he can give the handling a slip as he thought it won't be so bad as it was hyped but he found it affecting his highway drives at 110+ speeds and also rear passengers like his old parents did not like the violent jerks so he sold of.
the other guy had the same thud thud noise which wasn't being rectified and he sold of. the third guy had to change his turbo 2 times on the third failure the turbo seal went kaput and engine starved of oil the oil lamp came on and as he was halting it seized they repaired it and gave but he did not want to risk again. engine stalling on the highway gave him a night mare his car clocked 25k km.

Re: Hyundai Fluidic Verna Road Test Review

115 for vento, vento has a noisy engine and less features maybe these guys sold of and moved to verna

can't seem to find much on the new fiesta maybe cause there are very few who brought it. till date i have seen just 3-4 new fiestas on the road(not counting the ones parked outside the dealership)

can't wait for hyundai to officially announce the suspension upgrade, it will surely make up for the mean engine they put in.

new honda city is out, seen it a few days back has some extremely good tail lamps. but i wonder why the engine is a 16v sohc as opposed to our verna which has a 16v dohc and has more bhp.

Another thing to be noticed it - the 2011 Verna s were priced much higher than the 2011 City s in olx site. Means resale for Verna is higher or is it because most Verna s are diesel? [thinking]

resale value is higher, for petrol and diesel since its a new car has excellent market demand and big wait list.
