speed 97 as the best set of additives, he won't be having a shell pump there, but super premium is good.

manjoo yes rubbing compound may help on the headlights.

Re: New Hyundai Verna Fluidic 1.6 VTVT

Its a fuel issue, coz this car is freaking sensitive. Try filling regular petrol at shell or BP speed 97. One fill should clear any contaminants and then move to regular shell.
As per nick's suggestion I tried normal bp. But still it doesn't helps. the very first fill up I think I got around 450kms to the tank. So 10 was the average. I'm ok with 10 but 8 is not acceptable. Before trying premium i'll take the car to the center and see what they do.

Thanks for these tips manjoo [;)] i'll surely follow these steps. The petrol pumps suggestion was really good.

Yeah I don't have shell here , and do I have to add full tank of premium ? Or half tank is good ?

i don't know the fuel costs there. But even if you fill in a tank of petrol and add a can of those additives i said your good to go. They should cost between 400-600

Re: New Hyundai Verna Fluidic 1.6 VTVT

so this strange thing happened today [confused] it felt like i was going to lose the brakes.

i was cruising at 70 in 3rd gear , the front car stopped at a distant i applied brake and as soon as i applied the brake , the brakes went grr grr grr.

i was getting jerks in the brake pedal as well as the whole car , like we accelerate from zero in 3rd gear or 4th gear.

i was scared and shocked at the same time. my heart , i just can't tell you all. how it felt. [cry]

you jammed the brakes? Grrr Grr GRrr is the noise from the abs, jerking or pulsating from the pedal is showing the abs is on. But jerks in your whole car? That is strange try it out again, cause i have braked in emergency 4 times that activated abs but i never had jerks in the car and tire screeches are not continues but pulsated(like the tire locks then spins and same again) you will see the screeches marks on the road as | | | unlike without abs as a straight-line

Re: New Hyundai Verna Fluidic 1.6 VTVT

abs will trigger only if it sense the need to like one tire moving slowly and the rest faster. Or if all the wheels lock up. Try it again and see on an empty road. The car should not jerk unless you were in a higher gear and dint press the clutch.

Re: New Hyundai Verna Fluidic 1.6 VTVT

that's what i was thinking , i wAs in 3rd and was gaining speed. at the end of the brake , jerks are normal because of the car being on higher gear but as soon as i applied brakes i felt jerks , that's the thing which seems odd.
