best and free of cost, pull over and answer the call, if its not possible don't take it, when you can pull over return the call.
+100 well said.
Allhyundai do you get some super important calls ? Calls can wait safety is od paramount importance. By the way your car does have Bluetooth calling and receiving right ?

Re: New Hyundai Verna Fluidic 1.6 VTVT

hmm [:)] so i guess best is to park the car and then talk [;)]

@ raj - no , i don't have that much important calls and yes i do have bluetooth connectivity in the car.
and yes , i agree calls can wait[:)]

once i was coming back from the service centre and my friend called , i asked my friend to hold the phone on speaker.
unfortunately the light of the mobile was visible on my face and was stopped by traffic police :@ ( it was dark )

i was underage then with no RC , insurance nothing. just because i was coming back from the center.sohad to put 500rs in his pocket :@

the challan also was of rs 500 but i had no papers and license that's why had to give him that much money.

Re: New Hyundai Verna Fluidic 1.6 VTVT

A new news.

All Verna variants to get reverse camera

*to push up sales of the base variant.
*to reduce complexity in production

and not for people's convenience.
Even the 1.4 too ? Better they provide abs and airbags on 1.4 models too. Can you give the source from where you got this article .

Re: New Hyundai Verna Fluidic 1.6 VTVT

yes in the 1.4 as well.
sorry i forgot to add the link. now i have updated it.

they will only do that if they find it hard to produce the car or to ease the production process[anger]

i have mentioned this in several threads " waiting for the day when all base variants will get abs and airbags"

but this will only come only after other companies launches their products in india and competition increases.

Re: New Hyundai Verna Fluidic 1.6 VTVT

abroad its compulsory for the car to have airbags.
Abs is a really good thing but if you go to see people who have abs cars think, heck i have safety stuff i can speed up car will save me.
people should be educated on these things, how to brake in emergency situations on cars with abs, cause if you pump it it gets cancelled.
what i would wish is hyundai give out esp along with abs and 4 disc brakes on all variants.

Re: New Hyundai Verna Fluidic 1.6 VTVT

if they would have provided these features they would have got many more customers then what they get now. i would've loves esp with the abs. and more importantly seat belt sensors for all passengers and provision to disable passenger airbags. cause incase the seat is unoccupied and i have a collision for no reason id be wasting 40k just for that airbag.

they are doing it to increase sales of the base variant [:D] maybe it will attract customers.

and i agree. i think to disable the passenger's airbag option is available in i20 if i'm not mistaken.

Re: New Hyundai Verna Fluidic 1.6 VTVT

i20 can disable passenger air bags plus they have seat belt reminder for passengers also.

but i don't feel the sales of 1.4 will increase, guys will go in for the 1.6 anyways, due to auto climate ac, faux wood interiors steering audio controls, 4 disc brakes, bluetooth. only those on a supremely tight budget will go in for 1.4 or the cab guys. till date i hardly spotted 2 1.4 crdi's, most vernas spotted by me are the sx, followed by sx(o) with equal amounts of auto gears.
there is 4 sx(o) in my area 2 are auto gears and 1 is petrol(mine) 6 sx from which 3 are petrol. And just one 1.6 crdi

Re: New Hyundai Verna Fluidic 1.6 VTVT

they give features in some cars and not in others[anger] another cost cutting ?

i haven't seen any 1.4 till date. saw a 1.6 crdi the other day. like you said only sx and sx(o) are visible[:D]

but now i am feeling that automatic mirror folding and reverse camera should have been present or i should have bought the sx.

one day i'll post a video of my stree. you all will be horrified to see what i have to do to take the car out,

many people have encroached upon the land so its really tight to take the car out :(

Re: New Hyundai Verna Fluidic 1.6 VTVT

its a good feature, helps a lot in traffic, but is costly to replace if it gets damaged, 5000+painting and taxes if i am right. And if I'm even more right the rear view mirror that comes in sx and sx(o) is 46k as told by a guy on the forums who met with an accident.
