But the boot space looks smaller,so i think the CNG tank would consume more of boot space and giving less space for lugguages.
Its not CNG buddy its LPG - LPG tank is small and it does not consume boot space.

LPG?,okay smells like a good deal and agree with surfer with the apprx. mileage figures

BTW i can see it's chasing its competitor ahead[:D]
It's LPG, which consumers less space than CNG.
However, the important aspect to look at as this car is NOT MEANT FOR INTERCITY TRAVEL in anycase, the engine is small & mileage is a concern for city conditions. Therefore, a person buying this car won't have boot space in mind in any case. And if Hyundai comes with 60:40 folding seats, then that should suffice for some luggage then.

Re: Hyundai’s New Small Car Eon (Codename: HA)

Hi, tomorrow india will be ON
Catch it live on: Hyundai

In any case, this car looks similar to i10 to me. I am not sure what is Hyundai's strategy here.
Hyundai’s strategy is to keep the cars in market as long as they are selling well. I’m surprised that they are not going to discontinue Santro Xing even after the launch of Eon.

ACI is reporting that the Eon will be sold in six variants: D-Lite, D-Lite (O), Era, Magna, Magna (O) and Sportz. All variants come with an 814cc, three-cylinder petrol engine, mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. While the base will be available with 145/80 R12 tyres, wrapped around silver-finish steel wheels with hub caps, engine immobiliser, child locks, but only a driver’s side wing mirror (with manual internal adjust) and a single horn the top-end will have some upmarket features like driver airbag, keyless entry, front fog lamps, body-coloured mirrors and door handles, and metallic finish on the steering wheel.

Hyundai Eon's TV Commercial is quite funky and mainly targeted towards Gen-Y.
