Thanks Visran, I really like the TAI forum as everyone is welcome here to share their experiences, unlike some other forum for which even registration is tougher than getting into IIMs. I'll definitely post my rebuild process on TAI.

Here are the links that I had posted on a bikes forum a couple of years ago. This was when I was in college. All work was done by me at home except painting and chrome and took 3 months to complete.
After the build I was left with no money to change the tires. Currently the bike is in a real sorry state. I feel really sad as it is very close to my heart. [cry]

One of the picture below is in use by a Yezdi forum on Orkut.

Actually that's very immaculate and nice for an old bike. Looks awesome in that colour.

How did that happen ?
Dad's abroad, and we dont have any geared two wheelers around, when I was a kid dad taught me how to ride a cycle, witht the same balance managed to ride the Kiney well too, the only things I had left to learn where how to operate the clutch and tranny, since I was driving(Learnt from the Internet as well.) way before I got my first bike, I knew the principle, so watched a few YouTube video's. And then I rode my first bike out of the showroom, nothing happened then, but I stalled at the next junction, started bike again and rode to RTO got registered. A few days after that had my first spill, never spilled since.

guys i don't know whether it is right thread to post these pictures or not but really want to share these pics which clicked today. a group of bikers were crossing today from Shimla which were Suzuki Hayabusa, Ducati monster, Aprilla, ninja, some modified cruisers and some more Suzuki bikes. sorry for the poor quality of pics as i clicked them when they were stopped for less then a minute. but seriously it was a fun to watch them roaring and thundering for a while. [:D] and yes all the bikes were registered in DL & MH.

My first bike was Pulsar 200, sold it after a year, then bought Avenger 200, and finally I have an activa[clap] What a downgrade right? Guess I am not a true biker. But I would love to own one of these big bikes one day.
