Re: What's the top speed you have attained on your/any bike?

well on my Pulsar150(now sold): 110-115kms with piloin! (On Mankhurd-Vashi Highway)

Secondly on Pulsar 180 UG4: 131 without pilion! (Thats the reading of the digital meter, donno about my spedoerror!) (On eastern express highway from the godrej Signal)
Well my refreshed list!

Pulsar150(now sold): 110-115km/hr with piloin.

Pulsar 180 UG4: 131 km/hr w/o pilion. I am sure there may be some spedometer error.

Honda Eterno: 85-90km/hr w/o pillion.

Honda Activa: 80-85km/hr.

Bro's Unicorn: 110-115km/hr with piloin.

DZire DDiS: 135-138km/hr.:lol!:

My maximum speeds: -

Bajaj XCD 125: - 88 KPH
Hero Honda Passion Plus: - 85 KPH
Tata Indigo LS TDi: - 120 KPH

My question: - Whether it is advisable to drive the 4 year old Indigo, at 84k Kms, at above 130 KPH?

its not about car . Indian highway are not safe above 100 . After 100 its your luck . yes you can drive . i drive my 5year old safari at 100 and some time above it though i avoid . if you have maintained your car then you won't have problem . also always check your tire and air pressure before hitting highway

Ok. Hopefully so, my car is well maintained and so is the Dhule-Mumbai 4 Lane Highway. I have never crossed 120 and now I am more than willing to slam the accelerator. I keep the tyre pressure 30 while recommended is 28.

oh, just a push more and you could have gone little further[glasses]
Although speed limit is around 80mph, but we knew a stretch of way where there were no speed cams till some tens of kms, so we used to drag there!
